This was a great treat. The movie was humorous for both the adults and the kids, had a good plot, did not get too sappy or campy for the adults, and avoided political indoctrination. The plot, story lines, and characters kept everyone interested in the story throughout, and the movie flowed well. I highly recommend it as a great family movie.

I loved the movie because the story had a beggining, middle and end in classic annimation flavor. However, the improvements of the technology and graphics made the experience a solid one. However, I think that this should be the final Ice Age movie as in Diego, its getting long in the tooth

Ice Age 3 was far better than Ice Age 2. The 3-D effects are worth the extra money. I wouldn't want to see it any other way. Funnier, faster paced and enjoyable. I took four little boys and they loved it.

This movie has you from the moment your favorite prehistoric squirrel appears on screen. It has fantastic values and morals regarding family and friendships. Everyone was laughing and cheering for all the characters throughout the whole movie. Fathers were awake and kids stayed in their seats waiting to see what was going to happen next. That in itself says A LOT about a movie!! Great writing and an excellent continuation to the Ice Age story. Can't wait to see it again!!!

Was there with my husband two 8 1/2 year old boys and a 14 year old girl and it was enjoyed by all. Would say the 81/2 year olds enjoyed it the most. Would not take a child younger than 4 as there are some moments that would be frightening to someone younger than that

Ice Age 3 was funny and engaging troughout. It was entertaining to the little one's and kept my 10 and 13 year interested as well. There was also humor that was funny for adults but went over the kids heads. The 3-D was amazing. I would definitely recommend it for families and I saw quite a few adults in attendance that did not have kids with them.

My family enjoyed watching this movie on father’s day. It was not as good as the first 2 Ice Age movies and we were not very impressed with the 3D animation. It definitely felt like you were there with the characters but as far as stuff jumping out at you or feeling like you could reach out and grab stuff like you would expect in most kids 3D movies, you will not see any of that in this 3D movie.

The movie kept moving along both in action and laughs. There were younger kids who were scared by the dinosaurs who could still be heard crying and screaming even after the dinosaurs were gone. I would not recommend this movie to kids under 8 for this reason.
The 3-D effects were subtle and not in your face like some 3-D movies. You almost forgot that it was there, but it definitely was an enhancement that was nice.
The entire family enjoyed it, and I liked it much better than Ice Age 2. They also featured some deft adult jokes that the kids missed-like inside jokes for the parents.
If your kids are older and love the series it is fun movie to see...

I don't believe any film is truly as good as the first, but at the very least Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs does not disappoint.. There are all the characters we have grown to enjoy, an interesting new character and the animation is on point. See it in 3-D only if you enjoy those types of films.

I got a last minute notice about the sneak preview on Friday afternoon for Father's Day. I took my wife, 6 yr old and 4 yr old. It was the first time in about 25 years that I saw a 3-D movie. Great Movie !! Seamless scene transitions made the 1.5 hrs. to fly by, keeping even the youngest viewer transfixed. Great 3D entertainment. Kudos !!!

Enjoyed the 3 d but the glasses did not fit my little one so she did not enjoy it as much.We would have liked it if they had kid size glasses or a strap option for the glasses. Story line was great but we did not appreciate some of the adult humor that our 6 year old heard.
