I saw this movie in 3D with my 6 year old daughter. It was very creative and brought another perspective to this crazy cast of characters. My daughter loved it and spent the night comparing it with the previous 2 movies. The repetition of characters was great and the introduction of a new character was fun! I'm sure we'll buy the DVD when it's released.

This was another good addition to the Ice Age franchise and I think viewers who skip the 3-D presentation will really miss out and find the film falls "flat" (pun intended). I think the writers struck a nice balance of "grown up" elements to keep the adults engaged while the kids are busy being entertained with the slapstick and schaden freude.
The animation was nicely done and felt finished and rich throughout. I did feel Denis Leary's voice acting was lacking something in this installation, but couldn't decide whether the blame fell to him or the writers. It didn't keep me from enjoying the film.

we were suppose to preview this movie at AMC Brandon and that did not happen. This venue was too small and disorganized to hold this preview on Father's Day. These movies are made for kids and it kept my 7 year old entertained for almost the entire movie. He said he was bored at parts, but I heard him laugh out loud 3 or 4 times during the movie. I was bored when the squirrel (scrat?) wasn't on the screen which was about 90% of the movie. Unlike a Pixar movie, which I would go see without the kids, this movie is strictly for the younger set.

Saw this on Father's Day, was enjoyable for the whole family - a bit slow in the beginning, though. The kids were a bit disappointed with the 3D effects or lack thereof. My 8-year old really liked this movie. The 3-D effects were great but I felt there were some slow spots in the movie during which I literally fell asleep. So did my husband and the guy sitting next to me. Fortunately, it has a very easy storyline and I was able to keep up with what was going on even though I missed some parts. Actually was looking forward to the movie with the family, but just before it started the theater announced that we would be seeing "UP" (which was good even the 2nd x around). The theater was sent the wrong copy of the movie and did not have the right product code to show the movie ICE AGE 3 So we willhave to wait till July 1st and see the movie which will be a hassle getting in since the theater only gave use a 10 day voucher. (yeah) I have enjoyed the other 2 movies and was looking forward to seeing the 3rd ICE AGE - hopefully soon.

Loved this one! Has good humor for the adults and funny situations the younger kids understand. My 4 yr old loved the 1st two movies and this was her first time to go to the theater. She had a good time, even though the dinosaur in 3D was a bit scary, she just held my hand and had a great time. Very happy with this one, not a disappointment at all.

My entire family thought this was the best ice age movie yet. From start to finish it was constant action. I especially liked the addition of more action for scrat and the new weasel caracter.
