I'm always hesitant about sequels because they never seem to top the first. However, Ice Age just keeps getting better and better. 3D only added to the effectiveness. My daughter who is 8, finance who is 31, and my dad, 69 each laughed till our faces hurt! If you're looking for good old fashioned entertainment take your family.

story line was cute, but I expected alot more "special effects" with the 3D- not many things jumped out at me like in Monsters vs Aliens. The 8 year olds liked it. The 3D did make the screen crystal clear, but hardly anything made me duck or reach out for it.

Being an adult and having seen all three Ice Ages with my daughter, this one wasn't the best or funniest story, but the movie was still good and my daughter really liked it. This was our first 3D movie and we were both amazed at how cool it really was. Things really pop off the screen and at one point I thought Scrat was floating in front of my face. The 3D version of this movie was awesome. The kids will love this movie and the 3D effects will entertain the parents!

My daughter and I couldn't wait for this movie to come out and it was well worth it! We both enjoyed it tremendously. After we left the theater I texted several friends advising them to take their own kids. We saw it in 3D and I can't imagine watching it in normal movie mode. It is all my daughter has talked about.

The movie had no plot and seemed to go on forever. The character's were not endearing and some of the voices were just annoying. The 3D effects were marginal. My 5 year old son watched the movie - but I thought he was going to drift off to sleep at one point.

I didn't think it was worth seeing in 3d. But it was an OK movie, it seemed kind of long, and there weren't that many LOL scenes. We pretty much saw all the LOL clips already in previews of the movie, so that was disappointing. Overall is was a good movie but maybe wait til comes out in dvd. I think the first Ice Age was the best!

I am sure that I could watch 87 minutes of Scrat deal with his acorn-complex....but in this movie....that was about 7 minutes. Scrat and his antics are very funny and I don't seem to grow tired of them. Kind of like Wylie Coyote in days of yore. The rest of the movie often felt slow...and the character dialogue often flat and dull. It seemed an unusual mix of adult humor sometimes inappropriate for kids....and kid humor sometimes too bland for adults. What saves the movie is Scrat, Scrat's troubles & the amazing crystal-clear 3D animation. If the movie UP was an A then Ice Age III is a B-/C+. See it on the big 3D screen and in those slow parts relish the 3D animation!

This movie was very good. I was impressed that they had all the original cast of voices plus they brought a couple new. This movie was out of this world you must see it in 3D. The movie was perfect for 3D and nothing else. I can't even describe how I loved the movie it was good. The movie had many funny parts. An animated film with laughs and adventure would best describe 'Dawn of the Dinosaurs'! This is another installment to the 'Ice Age' series. But wasn't 'Ice Age' done? I thought so, but, apparently, not. After the first two movies it would have ended well there. Yet, the studios wanted more, and Director Carlos Saldanha gave it to them. This movie is appropriate for very young children, even though some of the dialogue is rude. If you want to see this movie, see it in 3-D; that kind of experience is much better. This is it for 'Ice Age', but if there will be more films, bring it on!

I was skeptical about seeing this movie in 3D but they have really come along way, it was a very enjoyable experience. The story line of the movie was good and the usual cast of characters were extremely funny, the new weasel character grows on you but the movie lives and dies with Scrat and Sid.
