Ice Age 3 is hardly as charming as its predecessors. Most of the time the movie didn't make much sense, and there were countless amounts of innuendoes. The only parts I enjoyed were those that featured Sid, the rest was boring and bland.

This was a good movie and my 7 and 11 yr old enjoyed it, however I think that there are one too many references to things that are inappropriate for children. Namely the se*ual references and connotations. For example trying to milk a boy animal. Or mistaking the tail of a female animal for the part of a boy. In my opinion I believe that this teaches our children that the difference between boys and girls is somthing to be joked about when it should be private. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a prude. This is just my opinion.

As far as sequels go, this was average. Being in 3D was the only redeeming quality. The characters have been played out. Although Simon Pegg's new Aussie survivalist weasel was a highlight. I hope we don't see a 4th, and I especially do not want to see a tv series based around the antics of Peaches the baby mammoth. And introducing a love interest for Scrat the prehistoric squirrel only solidified his need for therapy. my 9 yr old was bored.

Personally I thought it was O.K. I'm a huge fan of Ice Age 1 & 2, but this one wasn't so great. Sid was funny as usual and had a few laughs, but the rest of the characters were mediocre. Although I am 20 and probably have a different view for the main audience, who are probably between the ages of 7-14. Just an estimate... Anyway, it was entertaining but wasn't as good as the first two in my opinion.

It is refreshing ot be able to go to a movie and enjoy everything from the first minute to the last. The 3-D quality was VERY good No red and green filter to make the color look bad! The 3-D was easy to adjust to and had great details. Made you feel like you WERE there with them. I laughed all through the movie. This breaks the mold by proving many wrong who feel you can not have 3 movies and al be as good as the first!

Just when you didnt think the creators couldn't top themselves they did! Great for all ages .there are great jokes and underlying themes for those who think when they watch , otherwise you can just watch a great movie and get what the kids will funny ,touching with the theme that family comes in all shape and sizes and stick together.
