GO SEE THIS NOW!!!!! Fabulous up close and personal experience of seeing the Rolling Stones perform. It is mostly a concert they did in a small intimate theater in New York in 1996. Seeing it on an IMAX screen is almost like your own, personal show put on by the Stones. The sound is fabulous and you will never see the Stones like this ever again. Who said you can't grow old and still rock and roll? The Stones.....you gotta love'em!!!!!!!!!

Great movie! Almost as good as seeing them live. Great mix of songs, there are the well known and some that aren't. Scorsese does a great job capturing the energy and passion of the Stones!

There's only one teeeeeeeeeeny item I wish Mr. Scorsese & The Stones had added: "Ruby Tuesday".......but, I'm willing to let it slide for the inclusion of "As Tears Go By"! I love these guys......have since the first time I saw them at the ripe ol' age of 8!!!! I "got them" then, and they've still "got it" now! Glad I was able to share their beautiful energy with my 14 year-old son! Can't wait til he's had a change again in person! If you need a true lift of spirits, GO & let this movie: 'Start You Up'!!!!!!!

I have grown up with the Stones - and we are all older now; and in some areas a lot better now.
I only wish we all had jobs we loved as much as they apparently do. To see the Stones live - and even on film, is a reminder that we are what we are - and we should make the best of that...like they do.
The sense of being on stage with the Stones was a true thrill. Thank you, Martin Scorsese.

As a fan of Martin Scorcese as well as the Rolling Stones, I believed that this would be a fabulous look at the making of a concert as well as history of the band. I was very disappointed in the entire experience - the opening sequences of Mr. Scorcese awaiting the set list dragged on for way too long, the music was too loud to be appreciated, and the close-ups were overdone. Apparently this film was made to make money for the band as well as the filmmaker's and not to do much else - which is not a bad thing but we could have been given more of what we were aching for - the heart and soul of a great rock and roll band. If you are just looking to see the Stones live in concert, go; otherwise, save your time and money.
