I have got to admit that the acting in this movie was superb. Once again i am astonished by the emotion that the audience gets from watching these actors. This movie was phenomenal, but it really is not what i expected. I guess part two is going to be excellent but this movie was really a disappointment. Ron was gone most of the film, Hermione whined a lot, and Harry wasn't much use. IN an artistic sense, excellent movie, book-wise it was average, but action was it was a fail.

But it's PG-13 for good reason: there are some intense, scary, bloody moments in this film and it's moody, foreboding, and not your typical fun day at Hogwarts! It captures the main trio's personalities (the acting is SUPERB in this one!) and their relationship to each other - you see them as young adults and not school kids anymore. Action scenes are well done and exciting. If you're bringing along an HP novice you might need to explain a few basics beforehand such as the Obliviate spell, Horcruxes, side-along apparition, floo network, polyjuice potion.

Just got back from the midnight showing, was an awesome movie, although I have no clue how they're going to shove all of the stuff left into the second part, it will have to be at least 3 hours long.

The movie was truly fantastic. The relationships between characters... the emotion, just everything was perfect. I particularly loved Hermione's strong character. And Bellatrix's portrayal was flawless. It strayed a bit from the book, but I was very satisfied with it. This movie definately did the book great justice.
Very, very happy with this one!

I actually saw the advanced screening of it with the fine arts and Latin group at my school. Yes, you are allowed to be jealous.
It was FANTASTIC. Epic cliff hanger, I was on the edge of my seat! I can't wait for part 2!
This has definitely been one of the best and most detailed Harry Potters, I love how they made the movie. Fantastic job!
Definitely worth seeing. I already bought tickets for tomorrow too :)

Part 1 has paved the way for what's likely to be the best film of the series. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 features some of the strongest, most beautifully realized moments in all of the series. Basically, you'll love it if you love Potter and you'll hate if you hate Potter, but if you're just looking for some fun in the theaters you can do far, far, far, far, far worse than Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
146 minutes of minutely, magnificently detailed, precisely paced, decidedly dark fare - and the fans wouldn't have it any other way. A must see this holiday season.

This is gonna be a great movie! I already read the book so I know what's gonna happen, but for all of you out there that like the Harry Potter series and The Twilight Saga. You should read THE HUNGER GAMES. It is by far better than Twilight (in my opinion), and it has as much suspense as Harry Potter. The Movie comes out in 2011 or 2012.

This will make all the other Harry Potter movies pale in comparison since it will be available in 3D as well as 2D.
All the previous Harry Potter movies had great FX and animations but with this one being the final 2 part movie in the Harry Potter saga, they will have pulled out all the stops and the final 2 part movie will be a huge blockbuster!
If the full length movie looks as good as the trailer .. this final chapter will be stunning to watch especially in 3D!
Cant wait for its release!!
