A MUST SEE! Hands down, this was the BEST Harry Potter movie yet! Completely met all of my expectations and then some. It definitely kept the audience's attention the entire time. This movie was nothing less than amazing and I cannot wait for Part 2!
My only warning would be that this may be a bit frightening and dark for the younger Harry Potter fans. I would suggest parents viewing it prior to their children.

This is the best movie of the franchise so far. The young actors really stretched and showed us the fine acting of which they are capable. Well done to all. Can't wait for the next one but don't want it to end.

I have to agree with just about everyone else on this: Deathly Hallows is by far the best HP movie out so far, and I have a feeling Part Two will not disappoint! I especially loved the way they filmed it; camera shots move with the characters, as if you're actually walking behind/beside them, and the development of the story and characters themselves are both true to the book and easily followed, for those who may not have read it beforehand. Ron especially really steps up, and we get a glimpse into Harry and Hermione's friendship. Action, emotional drama, romance, friendship, angst, happy surprises - there's something there for everyone. (And let's not forget the creep factor.) So, to wrap this up: See this as soon as you possibly can! You won't regret it.

I have watched every Harry Potter movie since the beginning and liked them, but this one was just very disappointing, I am very sad about what they did with it... Yes it had the much needed comic relief scenes that saved those moments of boredness that almost put me to sleep, and yes it had some action but not as much as i expected, this is supposed to be the first part of the ending, I expected more fights, more confrontation some things i saw on the trailer weren´t in the movie.. that´s probably why expected more out of it... it was ok.. but by far not the best... I´m sad I payed to watch it, and stayed up to go to the premiere.. :(

OMGosh.. Having read the book and loved it. I was not expecting the movie to be as good as it was. Parts of this movie was like Deja Vu for me, being almost exactly what I pictured while reading the book.

It was an ok movie. However, it was hardly accurate to the book and it could have been made better by simply adding a couple lines here and there to explain things better. They left out too many important details.

For those of us who have read the books, this movie will be our favorite. It is by far the most accurate as far as the books go I think. It's amazing to see the excitement and anticipation I felt while reading the last book come to life. They threw some good humor in there to lighten up the dark mood of the movie. This one is definitely my favorite so far. Totally worth seeing. Can't wait until Part 2!!

The movie was good. I've never read the books, but if I had I think it would have been a lot better. There were people crying at certain scenes that I think were anticipated from the book. I fully enjoyed it and will see the final one when released.

I'm a huge fan of the Harry Potter books and, although the screenplay doesn't strictly everything that happens in the books. This was probably the best HP yet. I do have a few comments though- there was a scene that borderline could have been R rating... the two naked people kissing could easily have just been two clothed people kissing and that was kind of off putting that they chose to include the nudity. Also, the section about the three brothers was clearly done by Tim Burton, who had the opportunity to work on this movie through people he knows... his wife is helena bonham carter who plays bellatrix. Other than that I LOVED the movie. And they included Dobby! bravo

The only thing I didn't appreciate was how Ron looks like a scruffy 25 year old man, while they made Hermine look as if she was 14. Other than that grotesque distraction, everything else was top notch.

Loved it! David Yates holds a special place in my heart, I think he captures the right Harry Potter sentiment in each of the films he's directed and is my favorite by far. The bits of the book he altered for the movie are very well done. My only complaint is that some scenes are very slow-moving when i felt they should have been more urgent.
Spoilers now: Once again I found Voldemort to be laughable, but his influence is downright chilling--from Charity Burbage through the ministry to Gregorovitch huddling in his wand shop corner. And while I think Hermione's character has lost a little of her spark, Rupert Grint as Ron did an AMAZING job--his best movie yet. I loved the liberties taken with the locket scene, though Daniel Radcliffe is a bit of a weird kisser. And can anyone say "Tale of the Three Brothers"? That was the best scene, by far.
Great movie, great director, can't wait for the last!

It was definitely one of the best movies of the series. I'm a huge fan of the books and you will definitely hear some book fans complaining about missed scenes (and yes I do agree they should have kept the "has anyone tried sticking a sword in Voldemort?" line). On the other hand the movie is an almost flawless continuation (OK one more peeve Where did the mirror come from, I know, but they never explain it)1. All 18 screens at my local theater had sold out and I don't think anyone was really disappointed.

This one was easily the best Harry Potter movie yet. Everything about this movie was done right, the acting, the cinematography, the music was really good, even though I do miss John Williams, Alexandre Desplat did a fantastic job and I think his music is almost and by that I mean like a tiny iota less, as good as Williams. I can't wait to see this again in IMAX.

It was very well done. I loved the action. It even made you feel how dark and scarey the times had been becoming... It definately shows the worth of true friendship, extended family, and family. Left me yearning for part 2.
