This movie was awesome. It followed the book really well.The end point was a great place to stop.I definitely recommend seeing this movies at least once, but don't go alone! There are parts in the movie where everyone in the theater jumped and screamed, but mainly because things jump out at you.

I really really enjoyed this movie it was sad, funny, and suspensful for sure. Its the best harry potter by far in my book. Now i just cant wait for the second part to come out. Everyone did an amazing job in getting into their characters.

This movie was really good. It was great visually and special effects wise. Even the acting has improved some. However, it is obviously an in between movie. Not too much happens over all the weeks and weeks the movie takes place during (but even the down time is interesting enough to keep you watching). Several key points are hit, but it leaves you wanting more in the "classic Harry Potter movie excitement" way of action and adventure. The ending is obviously the middle of the story line, and you'll be left waiting for the next movie with extremely high hopes since this one was well acted and visually looked so good. We can only expect great things from a more adventerous second half sometime next year. Can hardly wait!!

I indeed love all the HP series, ever time when I watched HP I always feel so moving and touching, including this time, just after Warner Logo comes out with mists, my heart and memories take me back to the age of 13 years old, 9 years ago when I was a teenage and the first time to see the Philosopher's Stone. At that time all the major staff are at a pretty young age and I was attracted by this mysirous magic world, of course, by the way, I was in China that time. Although there always something disatisfy me a little bit here and there in the movie, but I won't blame it and maybe that's the reason I can name myself a fan or a follower of this all-time-classic piece of master, whether the stuff in paper or on the screen, or all the actors and actress. I ackowlege that I'm obsessed by Hermoine Granger, indeed Emma or Mr. Potter, forever being.
I like being a kid not for the so-called naive stuff however the nature personality and the imagining for the unknown world. Sometimes life sucks, however fairtale can purify one's mind more or less.

As a Harry Potter fanatic who has followed the books since they began, I have to say I was only severely disappointed in some aspects of the movie. Overall, it was a great film, and I would definitely see it again. However, as big a fan as I am, when the movie strays from the book, I'll always be upset. But this movie more than the others did a great job of catching most important aspects found in the Deathly Hallows without straying from the original plot too much. There were a few characterizations thrown in for Harry, Hermoine, and Ron that would definitely never have been written in the book, but it turned out all right and the movie was exciting to watch.

Not only did the first part of the final installment of what is possibly the most beloved series of our generation entertain its viewers with spectacular visuals, but it also clutched the heart and took it on a rollercoaster ride of emotion and suspense. It followed the book almost to a T, a plus for fans of the book series like myself. Not to mention it was brilliantly shot and edited. A definite go-see on my list, this film is not to be missed for fans and non-fans alike!

I loved it!! The story of the three brothers was artistic. Kreacher and Dobby bringing in Mundunus was hilarious! Definitely would recommend other people to it.

Stayed true to the book. Felt Hermione's emotions when she left her parents' home. Liked how Hermione read the story of the 3 brothers. Nice to finally put a face on Bill Weasley as depicted in the books. Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson have really grown into these characters and have shown that they are becoming full fledged actors. Will miss this series once it is completed. Now, lets see Part 2!

I was pleasantly surprised by the small crowd and no trouble finding a seat..the fact that I was third or fourth into the theater probably helped.
It was wonderful to have movies 5 and 6 as a review before the main event...Even after re-reading the books there were still things i had forgotten.
Number 7 was terrific and the ending was perefect and left me breathlessly waiting for Pt 2, even though i already know the ending.
Facility-wise, a clearer schedule and an more conveniently located snack bar for the between film food dash would have made the night complete.

It did a pretty decent job with sticking to the book, it skipped around a little bit but I believe the parts that they changed actually repaired the book parts them self. The only thing I didn't really enjoy was when the V-man was chilling at the table with all the death eaters, made him seem less intimidating. Other than that, I really thought it was good. I almost guaranteed that the next part is going to be the best one yet.

I definitely had a high level of expectation for this movie, and I feel only a small tinge of disappointment. There were a few things from the book I wish hadn't been left out, but overall, it was very well done. Definitely not a movie for young children.

Absolutely amazing. The trio were fabulous-they have grown so much as actors. I've always felt like they were forcing it to much, but in this movie it was so natural and believable. It was funny (so many one-liners), exciting, and heartbreaking. My only disappointment is that I have to wait till summer to see the finale.

This movie was excellent! It was one of the most intense movies I have seen for a while, and definitely the most intense out of the series.

I did not see this movie in 3D, but if I had I just might have died from the epic levels.

Simply WOW. I loved the anticipation during every scene you could not wait to see what happened next. Each actor improves so well during each movie so to finally reach the end makes them magnificent. I expected the first part to be less action-pact but that only makes the wait for the second part more exciting. Very witty and clever...I simply loved every minute of it. I cannot wait for part two.
