The Green Hornet was an awful movie that not only tarnished the legacy of the original classic, but was a low-brow poor excuse for comedy on its own. Seth Rogan is a no-talent farce and should be shot.

We had to walk out. Next time, I will use kids-in-mind for an honest review. Whatever happened to creative, entertaining scripts. The language was vulgar, obscene & showed no class. If there is a sequel, find writers who are not mentally limited to 'street talk.' Outside of the "black beauty" (car) & Kato's action scenes, everything else was an irresponsible deviation from the original TV series that so many of us found to be fun action adventure.

When I saw the movie I said Seth Rogen???? Bur Mike Keaton pulled off Batman in 89...(Christian Bale still the best)...Jay Chou would make Bruce Lee proud....Work in progress 4 Rogen...Cammy Diaz is wild as Casey...Et tu GH? DA Scanlon a bad guy murderer? like TJ on SWAT or Jim Phelphs on M.I.#1?...Still loved it....Ed Olmos as Axeford? Oh Well....! Encouraged 2 finally finish the graphic novel I tried 2 finish since 2006...Nuff Said!!!

The movie had very good action. It is a slow movie to start with but gets a lot better as it goes. The most disappointing thing though was all the cussing in the movie and the choice of words at times.
I would not recommend taking a child under 15.

Any TRU G.H. fan had 2b dissapointed, and felt disrespected. Seth Rogen?! No way, no how, we've waited this long 4 this? Van Williams, and the "Dragon" Bruce Lee must be turning in their graves. Seth Rogen?! C'mon! He's also one of the writers? What could he possibly know about G.H. mania. How many stars turned down these roles? I have never seen a Seth Rogen movie before with the exception of his voice-over in Kung Fu Panda. I am a fan of the Green Hornet however, most especially because of Britt Reid's connection/relationship to the Lone Ranger (Great-Grand Nephew). I knew that the movie version was going to be kind of campy, bu then the TV series was also. I thought the dynamic between the Green Hornet/Britt Reid and Kato was very interesting; fighting over a woman who was not really exhibiting a romantic interest in either one of them. Like with any relationship there was growth period, and a realization perior they had to go through.; almost dying by being buried alive did not help the fragility of the relationship. But after they got past that, things got really interesting. I had no expectations of this movie, so I was not disappointed; in fact the opposite very pleasantly surprised especially with some of the scenes which paid homage to the TV series. I really enjoyed this movie.

If you're a die-hard fan, you might think this is just the tip of an iceberg. But for new-comers, "The Green Hornet" doesn't make sense and feels like a rushed FX flick. But more can be found here....Seth Rogen is alright, and is a step up from his comedy performances. OK, but not perfect. Recommended for hardcore fans of the series.
