My husband and I liked this movie. The makeup made the Wolfman look like the chartacter in the old movies. The fight scene at the end could have been longer, but overall it was pretty good!!

This movie was pretty dark throughout. I appreciated the loud obnoxius screaming from the killings but I was disappointed that the fights were quick and it didn't let the viewer really get grossed out by them. The best part was the end. I liked the movie but if I knew what I know now, I would've saved my money and watched it on DVD.

Yes, Absolutely, a great movie, I to am surprised that it would get any negative reviews, Anthony Hopkins is a class act in any movie he does! special effects were fantastic in this one, it's nice to finally see a so call MONSTER MOVIE where you SEE the creater, I guess in the age we live in if it's not about some actor or actress taking off all their cloths and jumping into to bed with everyone but the lighting crew, and dropping the F-BOMB every other sentence it's not to be considered entertaining and well made, thumbs up to a great movie, LETS GET BACK TO GOOD AND WHOLESOME FILM MAKING.......

I really enjoyed this movie. It was done in the same style as the 60's horror movies, but with better effects. The cinematography was amazing. I was surprised at all the negative reviews for this movie. Then I realized that these were probably the same people who thought that Avatar was a "great movie."

I thought the action and storyline of the movie was great and had a nice new take on a classic "Werewolf" story. The actual wolf did not look like I would have expected--almost as if they tried to look like the older wolf from the black and white films but with an oddly 2010 image...minor detail though. I thought Hopkins did an excellent job playing a somewhat crazed-over bearing father and usually I find Benicio Del Toro to be a little eerie but he played this role very well. Good flic!

I thought it would be hard to screw up a great story like the Wolf man, but they did it. They movie was slow, boring. The director seemed to over emphasize all the little things. Everything that had a moving part squeaked. Doors, chairs, wheels, etc. The weather was always raining and cold. Yes, we get it; it’s the 1800’s in England great job. We get the background but the story was slow. What a waste of a great actor in Anthony Hopkins. I never understood were the character was going; all he did was babble through out the movie. I thought the actors were good, especially the main character. Next time a little more action, less whispering.

Should have known better. There was too much hype. On the plus side I viewed this at an AMC Fork & Screen and this makes almost any film worth while. If you are in to dark movies give it a try other wise save your money. On the other hand I have viewed Avatar four times now in 3D at Fork & Screen, what an adventure!

Not bad. Hopkins was more frightening in Hanibal, but I adore him in all his roles. Del Toro is lacking. Very good makeup artist. The inspector played a great part with the natural air and persistence of the Scotland Yard cop. I like to be scared. The girlfriend doesn't rate a review except she's a good lip puckerer'er, if that's even a word. But Jack Nicholson would get my vote for the most recent of the part in "Wolf". Thank you listening.

Hey... I can appreciate wanting "old Hollywood" when you are a fan of older movies... but love them or not.. they don't stand the test of time. Times change.. and storytelling styles change. To keep the attention of the modern-day people... you have GOT to keep up with the times! Gosh... that kind of storytelling seem soooo silly today. Nothing new to see here. This is just another in the list of mediocre werewolf movies. I recommend the underworld films for anyone who is into this line of interests.

I thought the movie was well done and stayed fairly true to the original. It also combined (but with better graphics) the changing of the body as it looked in the 80's wolf movies. This is one of our family favorites and we all enjoyed this version very much.

If you like horror movies this is one to see. Special effects were awesome. It reminds me of the original Wolfman movies. Except this one had more details.
