A good wolf movie. It does deserve its R-rating with a ton of gore. But after a very very slow begging the movie just picked and when it was cool it was really really cool. So I have to give this a B.

Don't let the trailers fool you. This movie is so awful that I left after 30 minutes. Benecio Del Toro's worst performance ever--"You killed my mother! You moron! I am a monster!" The "Wolfman" itself looks silly. The movie is so boring. The action scenes are lame, and people were laughing at scenes that were not meant to be comedic (at least I think that they were not meant to be). For example, in the dream sequences, random events keep happening and the "Wolfman" keeps popping up behind people--"RAAA!!" ---three or four times. It reminded me of some scene from Bugs Bunny and with the Tazmanian Devil. Dreadful.

It feels like one of those movies where you think that they could've offered more.Maybe with a different ending where Benicio was saved by the girl by killing the wolf that bit him. Just something to make a little more interesting. Special effects were amazing and the locations very realistic. overall the movie was good by like i said, maybe it could've offered a little more.

I saw The Wolfman this weekend, and I really think it was a pretty good movie. I liked that fact that the director stood with the original tale of the classic story. There was lots of horrific action and bloody scenes. I also liked that their was no really big changes to what the wolfman character looked like. Writers and directors these days tend to try and modernize tales, and ultimately they take a lot away from the what made the movie a classic.

The acting in the movie was good, but the remake of an old film and adding more gore to it just does not make it better. I kept waiting for something exciting to happen, but it did not happen. I am a fan of Werewolf and Wolf Man stories, but the movie did not capture the spirit of the legends of the Lycan.

It's a Wednesday movie. The story is very simple, nothing new, but Del Toro and Hopkins helps a lot with their performance. CGI anf FX are not the best. Is a very predictable movie, If you don't have any plan, it could be a good solution... Ps. you can wait for Netflix...

I expected so much more from this cast. I had read a review that made me want to give this a chance...then I read a review that called it cheesy. Cheesy sums it up. The movie tries too hard but doesn't impress. The characters are flat and the story is dull and superficial. The special effects were a disappointment - blood, guts, and intestines aren't scary, just gross.

This movie was shot intelligently, great editing, use of lighting, excellent period costumes, sets were excellent, and a solid pace. Del Toro and Hopkins were a great team. All supporting cast were chosen well. It was somewhat close to the original, but it had a nice diversion. I'll by it on DVD. I was a little disappointed in the physical transformation of the wolf. With all of the effects in place these days I was expecting more, however the end product - the wolf, was great and Del Torro worked the makup well. Solid, but it didn't knock me over.
