This movie is just plain fun. Of course the ABBA music is great but the way the characters carry it off is delightful. Meryl Streep is a hoot , her coharts play their parts to a tee and who knew those other guys could sing (Pierce Brosnan!). You will tap your feet and laugh and maybe tear up a little but above all you will have a great time. And isn't that why we go to see movies in the first place.

I knew that I was going to like it...but I LOVED it! It was non stop fun. The music was great. Meryl Streep was fantastic and the supporting cast was perfectly casted. Everything else made me forget the few minutes of Pierce Brosnan's singing...good thing that he is HOT for an older dude! Can't wait to see it again.

Absolutely Fabulous! I recently saw the show on Broadway and was skeptical of a movie version being any good but, the movie far exceeded my expectations. Originally skeptical, I now agree that Meryl Streep and the entire cast was perfect for her part as were each of the other actors and actresses. The cast was more realistic and the on-location set allowed for a greater understanding of the story than the Broadway version could.

I loved this movie! It is funny and happy and the scenery is absolutely beautiful, makes you want to plan your next vacation there. never saw the previews , did not know what to expect....well, it was simply put, brilliant. Creating a story based on some of the best of ABBA songs was a genius tour de force. The acting was remarkable, the movie was hilarious and the fun part was totally unexpected for the most part. The scenery in Greece was so romantic , that I would be surprised if the country does not get more tourism after this movie is released. Thank you for a great 2 hours of entertainment...and please stay in to see "all" the credits....

Being a huge fan of broadway productions, sometimes the movie isn't as captavating as I would have liked. Pleasently surprised by this one. I found myself surrounded by people clapping (myself included) at the inspriational 'Dancing Queen' senquence. This team of actors and producers did a wonderful job !

Great movie!!! Highly recommend it to everyone. My husband even enjoyed it and laughed out loud. Pierce cannot sing at all, but he is very endearing in the role. Having seen the play 3 times, Meryl Streep should stick to drama - she was far too old for this part and whoever told Pierce Brosnen he could sing must have been deaf. The only believable character was the tall, thin friend of the mother who is actually a dancer.

I found this film to be one of the best I've seen in many years. It made my wife and I want to stand up, dance and sing along...although we didn't out of fear of embaressment. I smell Academy Awards in the future.

The movie was great! (Except we walked in a few seconds late and ended up sitting in the front row which is never recommended!) Pierce Brosnan should definately stick to just acting and not go exploring a career in singing... but he played the role of Sam very well. I want to see it again soon!

GREAT movie version of a great, fun stage musical. Meryl once again proves she can do ANYTHING. Just wait for her to sing "The Winner Takes It All"! BEAUTIFUL photography and island, GREAT cast with the exception of Pierce Brosnan. He looks the part and of course can act but the man CAN'T SING!!! Why they couldn't cast a great actor who can sing for his part is beyond me. Baranski and Julie are fun and hilarious. A must see!!! A+!
