I really enjoyed this film. I remember watching the Indiana Jones movies when I was a kid. I have been looking forward to this movie for years. I was a little worried about Harrison's age, but it was not a problem. He still looks great & was able to keep up with any other action heroes. I actually loved the CGI stuff mixed with the real stuff. I loved the beautiful waterfall scene. The ant scene really creeped me out. The only part that I had any issue was the scene with the monkeys. Altogether though I would definately give it 5 stars. I hope they make another one.

Very good movie. Gross moments that are disturbing are par for the course with this series of movies but watered down compared to it's predecessors. I covered my 8 year old son's eyes during the 2 moments for parents who are concerned with what their kids see. I personally preferred the 3rd movie over this one or the others because it contained elements of the Christian belief system but this one is still a good fun ride for all. Recommend seeing it in a good theater with lots of speakers. Enjoy.

The story had some high points, but mostly was kind of stupid. I liked the parts that harkened back to the first Indiana Jones movies, but overall the interaction in those three was missing, since Brody and others for Indiana to banter with were not in the film.

The film is great. I've red some reviews before we ( my family) went to see the movie, and I was surprised that someone did not like it! Common! It's a great movie, perfect in its genre, great actors ( I really offended by someone calling Harison Ford and Cate Blanchett "second line stars"!!!). The film is full of great humor, soft, not violent, relaxing, I mean - there is no blool ( well, almsot!) - and this is so refreshing! Of course Russian part sounds a little stupid - but this is the condition of the genre, so you are not too slow to get it serious, right? Then - if you take it as it is - a great unreal adventure movie - you should really enjoy, it is very professional, very well done, and thanks to the great actors - it is light and not-depressing. Go and enjoy!

I love this series and was looking forward to seeing this movie. Before taking my 4 daughters to see this movie (and I previewed it before allowing the 10 year olds to go), I showed them the first three in the Indiana Jones series (though we had to fast forward through some of the truly gory parts). In this new film, the language was not always appropriate so we had to talk to our kids again about why that language is not used, but I was happy that the filmmakers did not abuse it too much. The film was not as gory or as scary as the prior films so I found it to be ok for my kids (who are between 10 and 12). My wife and I felt that some of the action and plot was not only unbelievable but insulting to our intelligence. They were not always consistent in treating the extreme magnetism and the scene involving the big blast was way too much even for me. Still, my wife and I liked this movie better than Temple of Doom which was a disappointing two star event. Raiders is still the best, followed by Last Crusade. However, my kids LOVED this movie. We had to explain some of the period references but they thought this was the best of the series. Their reaction surprised me since they can be very critical. They hope there will be another.

It also sets up a nice transition to future movies with Shia LaBeaouf.

Great movie! A bit of an odd storyline, but then again, so are the other Jones' movies. The stunts are not the most believable, but enjoyable nonetheless. I appreciated the nod to many of the previous Jones' staples (Brody, the Ark, his father, snakes, his name, etc.). Spielberg did a great movie, and John Williams does not disappoint with the music. Although Ford is 65 this year, he did just as well as when he was 39 making The Ark.

The movie was overall good. it was entertianing and thats it. There were some mistakes in the movie that i would not expect from a proffesional flim ( especially it being directed by speilberg). The were audio isues, when it just dropped very low ,and some greenscreening issuses. In Some scenes it was very apparent that they were in some hollywood set. Some mild humor, wich made the movie better, but the story line was farfetched andsome of the stunts were unrealistic. but never the less it was still entertaining hence my 3 stars.

A sequel was long overdue and this one didn't disappoint. Great period piece. Fantastic action and stunts. Believeable? Maybe not, but these are the movies folks and this was pure entertainment. I can't ait to see it again and I guess that's the highest praise I can give it.

If I had to put a word on this, it would be "Fun" but I wish I could have put others. The ending was unsatisfying to me, and things were a bit unbelievable at times. Nice flick, nice to see it made, but the ending left one wanting. The scene with the refrigerator, aftermath, was a bit shocking, but remarkable as to visuals. Too many of the usual action scenes defied survivability and thus suspension of disbelief was challenged. But again, Fun would have to be the simplest description. Don't go in expecting world changing meaning (or logic) and you'll be fine.

This is an entertaining movie--a blend of realism and fantasy. Pay attention--it fits and starts. Don't expect that same pre-teen awe that you experienced when you were 7 years old and watched Raiders of the Lost Ark. Marion hasn't changed a bit.

Although the plot is improbable, the film is a great return to the series. Cate Blanchett may sound as if she picked up her Russian accent from watching old Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoons, but she is an excellent villain, and Harrison Ford, as always, IS Indiana Jones. Some things just get better with age.

The Indiana Jones movies were my first inspiration toward becoming an archaeologist. Yes, most of the story is fiction, but there are enough real bits mixed in to excite that interest. This episode is true to the themes and plot lines of the earlier movies while bringing a fresh new twist to the story.

It was a great movie. It was nice to see Indy all over again; it gave me warm fuzzies and great memories of when I was a child. Seeing Shia was also great, he has a lot to offer. Not an Oscar winner, but a great piece of history.

On Friday of the Memorial Day Weekend, I was listening to Curtis Slewa on New York's 77-WABC AM station when the movie was completely ruined for me by some listener who had seen the Movie Thursday night and just had to tell Curtis that she felt "They couldn't come up with a better plot than ______?" (I won't ruin it for anyone else) So, I watched the whole movie with that in my mind. Other than that, Great Action, as always. The beginning sequence where we first see Indy seems too "On Stage" rather than feeling like they were really in the place they were. I'm curious to see how many other aspects of the original 3 we see in this movie. I'll have to pause many spots on the DVD. The characters were great! I didn't recognize Kate Blanchette, sorry, and I was surprised they only showed a photo of Indy's father, since the Actor is still alive. The end of the quest... sucked. And there should have been more of a "Raiders" or "Temple" reason rather than the one they came up with, even though it fit in with the beginning, which I didn't understand. Where did that artifact disappear to?

Save your money and wait to see this on video. That way you save the embarrasment of having to ask for a refund. All I hoped for was that this movie would be at least as good as "Temple of Doom." This movie made "Temple of Doom" look like the greatest movie of all time. I love the Indiana Jones movies, and I will never consider this to be one of those movies.
