Harrison Ford did an outstanding job in the continuation of the Indian Jones series. He resumes the story as an older Indy but he can still do the stunts! Younger kids may have some issues with a couple of the violent scenes.

If you are looking for a fun romp with some great (if unrealistic) action, and you are a fan of the genre, then this a pretty good ride. Be prepared to bring a healthy suspension of disbelief, and you will enjoy the . I laughed a lot, even though the dialog and plotting were often corny and predictable. Seeing our favorite action adventure hero display his fears and foibles was humanizing, it kept us laughing and sympathetic. The action is fast paced, and the effects are well done. Some of the effects were down right creepy, while some of them were a bit cheesy.
I loved seeing Indy and Merriam again. Mutt and the Russian were great too.
Overall I enjoyed the show, though I found some of the plot devices a bit contrived. I thoroughly enjoyed character's relationship resolutions, if not the "skull's" ultimate resolution.
I would highly recommend this to some of my friends, and not to others.

Very disappointed in the fact that Indy went Sci-Fi!!!!! If you are a true history buff and Indy fan, than this is not the movie for you. I think it crossed the line and was not true Indiana Jones fashion. When the alien factor was revealed my husband and I turned to each other frowned!

I was really looking forward to a blast from the past. A few of the scenes had the old time Indiana Jones' great escapes and humor but the story line was not so good. I was disappointed to say the least. When the movie ended, we all looked at each other and said, "That's it?!!!" The plot was, well, missing. There was no great climax and the character development was poor. I really wished I would have used my night out (which come few and far between) to see something else. If you wait for the DVD, you'll probably be glad you did.

I enjoyed it because they allowed Indiana's character to age as Harrison Ford did. I thought that the end was a little open ended, there was not much of a resolution, but I think that may appeal to other viewers. There were a lot of classic character traits that were prevalent throughout the movie! yeah!

If you are a die-hard Indy fan, you'll want to see this just to satisfy curiosity. Better than "Temple of Doom" but not "Raiders" or "Last Crusade"-worthy. Storyline gets a little "out there", if you catch my drift. On the plus side, it looks like an Indiana Jones film; there are some good special effects; a few good lines, and particularly solid performances from all involved. There are certainly worse movies than this, that's for sure.

While the story was far-fetched and the stunts and action somewhat unbelievable, the movie was action-packed and fun. The ants were CREEPY and gross. The skull-psychic concept was weird, but the effects were grandiose and impressive. I have mixed feelings about the set up for future movies with Indy's new sidekick, but one can always hope for the best. I will always be a Harrison Ford Indiana Jones fan. ENJOY!

Long overdue in the Indiana Jones' series. Action packed and I recommend it to those who enjoy the Indie series. I did find the ending a little far reaching and unbelievable. Worthy movie to continue the Indiana Jones series. The writers have done their homework as usual. If you know the story of the crystal skulls, you won't be disappointed. First part of the movie was a bit cheesie as far as acting goes, but once the movie got going, the plot flowed nicely. Acting overall was nice, in the classic Indy style that everybody is used too, but did again... have a "b" movie feel to it in certain points. Comedy was spot on though and did make the movie flow nicely. Did seem like they were following a basic "movie scheme" to things, but overall it was good entertainment, a "night out at the movies" kind of experience. Fair warning though, you can't expect it to be like the other Indy movies as far a old relics/artifact hunting goes, just to go into the movie open minded and have a good time with it.

The fourth installment of the Indiana Jones movies is fun and entertaining. The plot and writing is so-so, but the references to the period and subtle points make up for it. Since Lucas did the story, I am not surprised it is not better.

This movie was definitely a lot of fun! It was set in a great time period and the story was very interesting. The action scenes were a blast (especially the ant scene...the nuclear scene was pretty awesome as well) but there were certain parts where it was just a little too cheesy for my tastes, namely the vine swinging part with the monkeys...it was just a little too much for me. I recommend this film for everyone, and if you are already an Indiana Jones fan this movie will be right up your alley!

This movie is definitely a lot of fun. The actors have aged a bit, the plot is a bit "out there", but it legitimately feels like another fun ride with Indiana Jones. Lots of good chase scenes, fisticuffs, and mysterious riddles along with some excellent nostalgic moments make for an enjoyable experience.

OK - it's not the best movie ever produced, but I found it to be fun and entertaining. Yes, it was somewhat predictable - but then you expect certain actions for Indiana Jones. I laughed, I held my breath, I cheered, and I clapped. Recommend it - you bet. Take a date, a friend, your kid, your spouse - or even just yourself. If you are an Indiana Jones fan - you will enjoy the movie.

The years have been kind to Indy. But. 20 years was too long to wait for this film. Some of the stunts were too over the top. And the sugar in Miriam was too sweet and too peppy. Wait for it to be on video.

I expected more ... after such a long time away. In my opinion it fell short and I was a bit sad. Still ... It did make me feel good to see Indy back. You can't beat that character. They should have had more suspense and definitely more 'Indiana Jones' music. They could have made it much much better. I guess we'll have to wait for the 'pre-quel' ... lol.
