Overall, this was a good movie, but it will be a little disappointing to people who read the book, particularly to those who read the book recently. I attended with a friend who hadn't read the book, however, and she loved it.

I loved the book dearly, and now I love the movie. The Soundtrack was excellent, and the style very epic and sweeping. Some of the details of the movie don't match up with the book. But dispite that, it was a great movie and I would recommend it to anybody.

There was a lot of hype regarding this movie and rightly so. Tom Hanks is an excellent actor. It took me a while to not see his movies as Forrest Gump in space, or Forrest Gump as a prison guard. My point is, he always nails the part.
This movie was very interesting but it ended up being more of an action movie than Da Vinci Code. Which, to me, made it more exciting and enjoyable.
Good movie with lots of twists and turns.
I give this movie 4 out of 5 stars.

Just read the book about a month ago. I had high expectations of the movie since the book seemed to contain some outstanding visuals, but I was mostly disappointed. So much of what made the story interesting was taken out of the film. In the book, the drama was highly publicized and the public's perceptions and reactions were a factor. In the film, the public is largely omitted and kept in the dark. The film lost all meaning conveyed from the book. If you were a fan of the book, I suggest you read it again and skip the movie.

This movie by itself was very good. I took a friend with me to see it that had not seen The Davinci Code and he was able to follow it fine. For those of us who have seen the first installment, I believe this movie could have been better. There was a bit more of an ability to predict the outcome in this film than in the first. If I had to judge it without me having seen The Davinci Code I would give it 4 stars. Since I have seen it, I give Angels and Demons 3 stars.

The scenes in the first three churches were very predictable. The story did accurately portray the Catholic Chuch and the fact that EVERYTHING that does not please them is presented with a spin and covered up.....Sounds like government doesn't it? I thought this movie was very well directed and was done out in the action packed explosive way it was meant to be done. The cast was superb, the switch from Italian to Irish for the Camerlango made him seem more interesting and the Assassin was just very cool. I was upset however that they changed much from the book. I understand that some things must be cut for time sake but certain very small details should've remained the same. I also agree with the other reviewers who mention the ending being dissapointing(because it was). But besides the small flaws this was a very good movie. I highly reccomend it and the book.

This was probably about a good hour and a half of movie dragged out into almost two and a half hours. The story here was very non-entertaining. I felt like i was watching a two and a half hour episode of CSI. Skip It

This was seriously action-packed. I had expected the movie to cut some scenes in the interest of brevity, so I wasn't surprised when that happened, but why did they change the ending? It worked for the movie, but I would have preferred it if they stuck to the original.
Even so, it was a fun couple of hours, and worth seeing a second time (something I rarely recommend.)

For the first 2 hours, Angels & Demons kept the audience on the edge of its seat with twists and turns at every corner. Even I was surprised and caught off guard at some points, because I had read the book before and remembered most of the main, key points. It was not until the last 30 minutes that the movie lost my interest. Not to steal the glory of those who saw the movie with me or anyone else who has not read the book before seeing the movie, but the ending was extremely altered. Even though this is a forum for people who have already seen the movie, I do not wish to post a spoiler in this statement. So, I will say this: if you want to get the full extent of Angels & Demons, and if you want to get the better version, read the book!
