We were a group of 8 ... ages 2 thru 55. The story line was thoughtful and touching, the 3D was very good, and the movie flowed really well to keep everyones attention. Our 2 year old had trouble keeping on the large glasses and lost interest because the picture itself got very blurry without the glasses on, but I will get her the DVD and I know she will watch it repeatedly. We all came out of the theatre with good comments and had an excellent time.

I really enjoyed this movie. The moral of this story is so applicable to how, both children and adults, misjudge others. The story really emphasizes how you should get to know a person before you pass judgement; even on those closest to you. I would recommend it for any age, but not too young.

I've seen movies in 3D twice. I enjoyed 3D movie. First the technology makes it look closer to you, sometimes like it's coming right to your face. I must say that I did not feel one dull moment in this film by Dreamworks. It was touching, filled with action and great, cute humor that all ages can understand. The camera movement was phenomenal and the terrains and environments were absolutely fantastic. I'm a 3D artist and I was just in awe looking around at all the great work put into this film. The humor was timed amazingly well. You have everything in this film. Slightly predictable but the film is worth every penny in 3D!!! The visual effects are mind blowing and the story is touching and uplifting. Great film for everyone to enjoy.

I took my 6 & 8 year olds to see this movie, it lived up to all expectations and then some!! Storyline was great, animation was amazing, it has the perfect amount of funny, "scary", sadness and love wrapped up in it. A+ all around, definitely a repeat must!!!

I've seen it twice now - in 3D - which I would recommend. It's the wave of the future and we're all riding high. This is a wonderful film that truly gives the audience the impression of flying when Hiccup and Toothless start soaring. The only question I had was why weren't Hiccup and his Viking girlfriend freezing to death while flying high above the clouds at night? At a 5 degree drop in temperature for every 1,000 feet in altitude, they should have been sporting icicles upon touchdown. All in all, a wonderfully done film and I really liked Toothless and his expressive eyes.

Another sucess by dreamworks animation! The movie had plenty of action and of course the cinematography and animation were superb. The screen writer did an exellent job of humanizing the villians in a many soft hearted moment. Caution taking smaller children as there are some scenes that are scary enough to make a five year old cower. My kids are 3,5, and 7 and they all loved it.

The emotional expressions of Toothless are incredible! We enjoyed this movie VERY much! Good story, not too drawn out, great graphics. Diggin' on Toothless.

This is the best 3D animation movie I've ever seen. It has a good story, characters, and nice visuals. I loved it. Very well made movie.

My 4 year old son and I went and saw this. The 3D was really good. The story had great meaning. It was funny and kept his attention the entire time.
