I can't say enough. My son is not one to sit still during movies. This movie had him in one spot thru out .. I loved the relationship between hiccup and toothless. As soon as we got home, my son started drawing Toothless. Great movie for the adult with a kid inside.... "How to train your dragon", had alot of character building in it. Kids learned confidence, strength. That "I can do it Attitude".

Our hero, Hiccup, will stop at nothing to earn the respect of his Viking chieftan father, his peers, and the townsfolk by trying to fight the dragons that constantly besiege his home. Little does he know what adventures are in store for him along the way. I heard a review that said some of the flying scenes were so beautiful they'd make Avatar jealous. They were right. If you liked Kung Fu Panda (and I did...a lot) then you'll LOVE How to Train Your Dragon. Beautiful movie and epic flying/burning scenes. Only wish we could have seen more kinds of dragons. I just saw the movie a second time and loved it all over again. I think this will be a real contender against Toy Story 3 next award season.

I took my wife and son and had a blast. The movie, typical of Dreamworks had a storyline for the kids and for the adults. The animation was great and the message behind the movie was nice. Nothing in the movie with the exception of the word hell to turn of potential moviegoers and it referred to the nest of dragons.

Endearing movie which allows kids to look for more than differences skin deep. It was a good story about acceptance and helps us as parents listen to our kids more often then we actually do. The kids enjoyed the graphics and 3D effects. A bit sad at the end, but a good time was had by all.

Really enjoyed this, great movie to see with kids up to mid-teen years. Laughed out loud more than a few times. The 3-D effects were quite good, although we all noticed that we acclimated to the 3-D effect by the time the films was done.

This was a great movie! The kids loved the 3D effects and it was fun to see them reaching out at the screen. I think they could have done more with the 3D since we had to wear the glasses for the whole movie but I thought it was great! Hiccup, the main character was someone the kids will relate to, the "romance" in the movie is small with only a kiss or two and the dragons were cool! Warning though, I thought the fighting scenes were awesome but for parents with kids 5 and under it may be too violent. There are really fun dragons but there are also really scary dragons and the fighting scenes look scary with all the fire and smoke and fast action. For sure a movie I'd recommend and if you're going to see it you may as well pay the extra $$ and see it in 3D.

We took our 4 & 9 year old boys to see this and we all just loved it! There is lots of adventure and humor, something for everyone! We would easily go see this one again!

The movie overall was excellent. Very cute story line, animation was incredible, 3D effect is getting better all the time. Both my son (he's 6) and I enjoyed it completely. It is a must see and see it in 3D!!
