We took our 5 year old to see it. She's just old enough to not get scared by the action/fighting. The story was better than I expected. Jack Black and his colloquialism make the main character Po the Panda. The animation adds loads of visual humor to the script. At 91 minutes, perfect for younger kids.

My husband and I took our two daughters, ages 2 and 4 to this movie. We were a little worried, since this was the first time the 2 year old visited the theater. What a great movie! My husband and I laughed and so did the kids. It was exciting and fast paced enough to keep the kids' attention, but not too long in length (an hour and a half). If you want a movie that will entertain the entire family (even the little ones) and not take up the whole weekend, this movie is for you!

The animation is great (Disney/Pixar artists have a more creative eye, in my opinion) but the story is brilliant and the characterizations from the actors' voice talents are the wonderful. Jack Black singing "Kung Fu Fighting" through the credits is worth waiting for before you leave the theatre.

Kung Fu Panda is one of those rare children's movies that teaches a valuable lesson without preaching. This movie to me was very bland. It didn't have a great story or anything. Even with a great bunch of actors doing voice overs it still wasn't that good. I saw this after I saw Wall-e and I have to say I will go see Wall-e again in theaters but Kung Fu Panda I won't even rent it when it comes out. My son didn't even like it that much. Thats a surprise. He's three and loves animals and kung fu type movies.

I took my youngest brother to see this movie on the 4th of July. I wanted to do something nice for him because I work all the time. I didn't really think I'd enjoy the movie, at first. However, I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was fresh...light-hearted, and yet taught a very important message about believing in yourself and following your dreams.

The lastest Dreamworks animated feature gets its voice talents from Jack Black, Dustin Hoffman, Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan, and Lucy Liu. Po is the panda son of a duck who runs a noodle shop but dreams of being a member of the Furious Five, the kung fu protectors of the valley. The animation is great but not yet as good as PIXAR. The story is engaging and funny and is appropriate for the whole family. Being a Jack Black film per se you know Kyle Gass can not be far away and so he can be found in the credits as the voice of a character named KG Shaw - long live Tenacious D!

This movie was extremely funny. I loved it. I thought that it was even better than all the Shrek Movies. I would recommend this movied to anyone, especially those people with children. My children absolutely loved the film. You just can't stop laughing.

I put off seeing this one for a while, because I normally don't like this type of animation (I didn't like Madagascar at all). I went into the theater expecting an hour and a half of painful boredom, and was completely shocked to find that I was thoroughly enjoying this fun little movie. There were some laughs for everyone - nothing racy, but everyone will enjoy this movie!
