I took my 4 and 6 year old sons to see this...I thought it was an absolutely adorable movie! My concern of course was after seeing this movie, they would want to imitate the moves, but suprisingly they weren't too bad and there were not too many injuries to report :) I agree with everyone else that I don't think they understood the messages the movie was trying to get across but it was yet another awsome DreamWorks movie.

We took my granddaughter to see this movie today, and not only did she enjoy it, my husband and I did also. Jack Black was great as the lovable Po, and this movie had a nice message to all. There is a lot of action and the story held our interest to the end.

I love taking the grandkids to movies, for them and for me. Wall-E was great and thought provoking but not as much laughs as Kung Fu Panda. It had lots of laughs but had some lessons that soak into young minds more than we adults realize. The animation was great and created laughs or thoughtfulness just with facial expressions. Need more movies like these. Lots of adults are going - with or without the excuse of children or grandchildren.

I took my 11 year old daugher and her friend. I laughed more and harder when all the younger kids around me were laughing their belly laughs. I would recommend this to any adult, even if they do not have children!

What a surprise! My wife and I took our 9 and ten-year-old to see Kung Fu Panda -- very entertaining for everyone. Good values and messages. Despite the perhaps upper level of fighting, our children were practicing Po's finger lock on the way out. The best part was entertainment. Messages sponsor a more positive outlook, self-confidence, exercise, better eating habits, control, and respectfulness. You will laugh while you hear them even if you are the parent.

Good character voices always add to these movies. I do get tired of the same old stars doing voice work. Let professionals keep that work and let actors act for a living. The movie had more humorous elements than I expected. I enjoyed it and lauged with the kids.

My grandson, age 4, had wanted to see this movie for the past month. I finally took him. We really liked Po and his silliness. I don't think my grandson got the hidden meanings of the movie - believe in yourself, eat right, exercise, etc. - but I think they were thought-provoking nonetheless. What he liked best were the kung-fu moves, and tried them himself all the way to the car. Call me old-fashioned, but I thought the movie could have done better with less fighting scenes.

If you have read the bad reviews of Kung Fu Panda and are expecting a really bad movie, think again. Altho it's true that it is not the most exciting movie ever or anything, it has a good message. Movies are meant to entertain, not preach, you say? Kung fu panda brings a kind of entertainment and humourous air to the theaters that is simple but pure. I would say, give it a chance. And seriously, pay attention to the movie! You may find out or rediscover something about life.. about us as humans, in the films Kung Fu Panda and Wall-E.

I see a lot of kids' movies with my kids. Sometimes they like films that I can't stand. I LOVED this one. My husband actually stayed awake throughout the whole thing and that is saying alot! I found Jack Black's portrayal of Po to be especially funny. We are all still repeating lines from the movie. It is a great family flick that my 12, 8 and 4 year olds really enjoyed.

The visuals and voice talent in this movie were amazing! And the action sequences were pretty awesome too! My only complaint is in the belivability of a fatso Panda becoming a kung fu master practically over night. The message of "believing in yourself" is great for everybody. But if you want to really reach the kids with a message, eating right and exercise coupled with rigorous training, are the real ingredients to success, not being an obese buffoon!

My 4-year old enjoyed this movie a great deal. Lots of funny parts for both kids and adults. I was concerned about the fighting sequences and the scary villains, but she wasn't bothered. She asked to see it again as the credits rolled. Kids under 4 may be frightened by the prison and escape scenes.

This was a terrific movie. It had a lot of great humor, action, and beautiful animation. Jack Black, Dustin Hoffman, and Angelina Jolie were terrific, as were all of the other character voices. This is a movie that will be purchased on DVD for our home when it is available!

Decent animation. The fast moving storyline is interesting and should hold the attention of adults and children. Could be a little violent for the four and under crowd. The characters eat through the entire mover, so get a big bucket of popcorn....egg rolls would be even better. Stay to see the scene at the end of the credits.
