I took my three school-age grandkids (3, 4 & 7 grades) to see this movie and we all enjoyed it. There was enough humor that a grandma would pick up on and enjoy, and the kids thoroughly enjoyed it, too.

As a mom I often dread seeing anything that is not Disney. I did not have high expectations for this movie - but found it to be very funny. It was cute, silly, and had some good advice for kids too boot. My son, who is 9 years old, laughed out loud during the entire movie and begged to purchase the movie once it comes out on DVD. I would recommend this movie to anyone(Adults and Kids) Also, I did not feel that the martial arts action was too much for any child. In fact, it might inspire some kids to take lessons! It's a great form of self-defense. ENJOY!

Jack Black is his usual "AWESOME" self. You can tell he had a hand in altering the script. Funny and cute movie! There was one part where he sits a lottle too long on the meaning of "sucking" that was a little much, but all in all it was good for the kids.

Kudos to Dreamworks for producing an incredibly fun and beautifully animated feature--Kung Fu Panda. The voice acting by Jack Black, Dustin Hoffman and Ian McShane are terrific and the animators did a fantastic job incorporating the actors' personas into each of their characters: Po, Master Shifu and Tai Lung. Every frame of this film (including the credits) to the very end is beautiful. You'll appreciate the time and passion the creative folks at Dreamworks put into this film. My 6 year old son picked that title! He loved this movie and rated it 5 stars. I, his mom, rate it 4 stars. The reason I rate it 4 stars is that Angelina Jolie's Tigress was dull - needed some spark to keep up with the other characters. Other than that, it was kind of star wars-ish, but we went with a group and the 6 year old girls in the group also loved it. Go see it - it was very funny! Jack Black was absolutely perfect for that role!

It was just ok. My 7 year old liked it but some of the parts scared my 4 1/2 year old. There are some "dark" parts that younger children may find scary. Definitely go to matinee...don't waste your money on higher priced showing.

I took a group of girls from our youth group at church along with my sons ages 4-16 and they all liked it. It has good morals and the good guy wins even though he is different than all the other characters. I even liked it.
