Best kids movie I've seen so far (literally). My daughter never sits thru a movie like she did with Kung Fu Panda. Even my husband who isn't to much of a animated movie person, really enjoyed it.

I'm a sucker for animated movies, so you know I had to go. I knew it was going to be funny, but I had no idea that it would actually put out such a good message. The message was very easy to understand too, it wasn't all hidden or anything. I highly recommend this to kids of all ages. Oh yeah, and this goes for any movie, be sure to get your tickets online if the movie just came out. It got us into the movie while everyone else was being turned away, LOL!

My 6 year old daughters were split in their reviews - one loved it and the other really, really loved it. My kids normally don't like movies with any kind of violence and there was a bit in KFP, but they handled it well and they enjoyed the movie very much. The message was great and there was enough humor aimed at adults to keep me interested.

Too many dark themes for little kids, which is 5 or less, in my opinion. My 4 year old go scared a few times. I nodded off a couple of times. The action sequences were nice, but the overall balance... just wasn't there. I expected better; it just wasn't an overall "safe" type of movie for my family, but is probably better for 6-10 year olds.

For an animated movie, Kung Fu Panda really holds your attention. It is 90 minutes long, but seemed like much less. There is a little bit of violence, but nothing that would make anyone have nightmares. The voices are great, and Jack Black as the Panda is a terrific choice of actor. Even the mob of kids that were in the theater when I saw this movie did not make it unenjoyable -- the story is so good that you can really focus on the movie.

I gave it a four stars because it is a good movie experience for the whole crowd. Kids loved all the kid-oriented jokes, it had a storyline with a bit of unexpected depth at the end, and it handled the physical humor without meanness. Not the greatest movie ever made, but a good solid summer movie. The more I think about it, the more I like it.

Who says this is just a movie for kids? I took my 16 year old daughter (we have been waiting FOREVER), and we happily sat in a full theater made up almost entirely with kids under the age of 10. Although this is definately kid-friendly, it is also going to be fun for the adults. The animation is awesome, but the humor and story are certain to hold interest and laughs abound. Definately well worth the time and price of tickets to see. This is one I intend to buy when it does finally come out on video.

It was a good movie for kids.. I brought my 8, 7, and 2 year old to see it and they laughed so much. For me honestly I dozed off serveral times but then don't go by me it was 97 degrees here yesterday and as a mom of 6 you catch naps whenever you sit down.

Our whole family enjoyed this movie, especially our 6 year old daughter. We also went with a 5 year old and a 10 year old and they liked it too. The animation was superb and it's hard not to love Po (Kung Fu Panda). I really liked to story line too. Take the kids!

Would I recommend this film to a friend? Definitely. And that friend would be no older than 12. Nice family movie, a few laughs, rather formulaic plot with a positive, affirming message. I probably enjoyed the title work as much as anything (from graphics perspective it was engaging and fresh). Disney/Pixar has a reliable formula franchise and KFPanda kicks right into the center of it. Take the kids.

I'm usually not the one (my wife) who takes my 7-year old son to these types of movies. The last movie I took him to, "The Bee Movie", put me to sleep twice. My son really enjoyed it, and I did too! Now it doesn't stake up to the Transformers, but for animation clarity and storyline, I'd give it a 4.5 overall. My son would give it a 5.0. But hey, he's 7-years old and didn't have to pay for the movie and snacks. :o) This is an excellent movie to include in the family-fun night, home DVD collection.

Loved the flick! 8 yr old girl and 5 yr old boy both can't stop talking about "Po" the main panda. Good story that doesn't drag on like some previous movies. Would have been nice if some of the side characters spoke more so you could recognize their star voices. Jolie, Chan...didn't even realize it was them until the credits. The only two I recognized were Jack Black(Po) and Dustin Hoffman(Chi Fu). But they can definitely carry a movie just by themselves! Go see this movie, the kids wil love it and you'll love it right along with them!

Animated Action packed fun for kids and adults alike. We brought the whole family. kids 6, 10, dad and mom all liked it. Has a morale to the story, unexpected hereos and teaches respect for elders even when it seems crazy.
