Good for the whole family. My 10 year old absolutely loved it. He has been reinacting scenes from the movie since we left the theatre! One of my kids is a young adult, and even he had to admit....it was pretty good. This is probably Jack Black's best work yet. Take the kids...shucks! take the whole family. My family went to see this movie (kids are 5 and 11) and we all enjoyed it except for my wife. She did like the fight scenes, which were my favorite parts as well. There were funny parts here and there. The kids absolutely loved it and it kept them laughing. Good movie.

Sunday matinees of family-friendly movies are really noisy. Jack Black's lines made me laugh out loud on several occasions. "Believe in yourself and follow your dreams" -- a great message to share with anyone. Favorite line: (by Seth Rogan as Mantis) "I wish my mouth was bigger!" I wonder what really happens with the Wu Shi finger hold when Po finishes off Tia Lung with his pinky . . . Early box office results suggest that there'll be a Kung Fu Panda II -- but I'm not holding my breath.

I took my daughter and some friends to the movie for her birthday, ages 10-12. The animation and music won me over right from the beginning. The characters are endearing. Po is really funny. There were several times when I laughed so hard I thought I'd wet my pants. Jack Black was perfect for this role. Master Shifu is quite "Yoda" esque and absolutely adorable. The movie was a little too short. They developed the characters a little too quickly and rushed the story in the process. I would have gladly sat through another 30 minutes if it meant I could spend more time with Oogway (zen turtle master) and getting to know the other characters. I very much enjoyed the music. I could have peacefully sat there with my eyes closed, listening, except for the stellar animation. So much going on you can't help but watch in awe of the talented animators.
