wow. i loved this movie so much. its definitely my favorite out of the 6 HP movies. The acting has improved, the graphics have improved, the story-writting has improved and the directing was incredible. it followed the book for the most part, it was funny in places, and i loved it. It was so fun to see at midnight! definitely go see it on the big screen, its worth it.

I enjoyed the movie. Even for those who don't read the book...they can keep up with what's going on. As always, movies can't have everything the book has. Relationship of Harry and Ginny didn't show near like it should have.

This movies was fantastic. Most of the previous Harry Potter movies have cut out a great deal, for example, house elves in 4. However, I thought this movie did not skip over much. They changed a few things around but it all made sense. I loved how they added a little comedy, it kept me (and the rest of the theatre) laughing but they also made the seriousness of the plot come through.

As a parent of an 11 and 5 year old I was very happy with the movie. I loved the fact that it was a movie for kids, unlike the last couple that had much scarier parts. Personally I loved watching how there was a little bit of a love story. This movie kept my interest more than the others. Going to the midnight showing was well worth it for the whole family, we were not disappointed.

I loved Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. For me, this is probably the best movie out of the whole series (so far, anyway). It had funny moments, sweet moments, and also, sad moments. It did leave me with some questions, which is normal since I didn't read any of the books. But I hope my questions will be answered in the next 2 installments.

Best Potter film yet. It was not as dark as the book but still it has to be one of the best ones yet, if not the best. It is amazing to have watched these characters go from having to be told what to do into well seasoned actors. Great fun with the kids and Loved the Midnight Showing.

i thougth this was a great movie, hilareous, but i hated that it did not follow the book. Sure, it had most of the main points, but they put them in different scenes in the movie, changed up the characters from what the book was like, and they added stuff. if i hadnt of read the book i would have NO idea what horcruxes are, they didnt explain certain points well enough, but it was very funny between the chemistry of different couples.

Oh. My. God.
You guys, this movie is INCREDIBLE. The thing is, Harry Potter isn't just about children's entertainment anymore - these movies are about creating film with depth and meaning to it. I mean, the special effects were amazing, the acting was incredible - everyone's acting ability has increased ten fold, even the photography is awesome. David Yates did a phenominal job with this one.
Please do yourself a favor and see this movie.

This review is coming from a 35 year old woman who has read the book.
Like that they tried to make the movie as long as possible to fit as much in as they could but seeing how this was a huge book they missed some important stuff. There wasnt much emotion (other than Hermione) w/ the characters. I didnt feel it when Dumbledor died. Where was the love story w/ Harry & Ginny? Where was the hate build up w/ Snape & Harry? Tonks & Remuis? Fluer? There was no big battle at the end that I craved from the book. This movie need to show more magic. It would have been nice if they had taken their time and made this book into 2 movies. Figure it would have meant more $$$ for Warner Bros and J.K.R.???

This movie was okay as far as movies go, but as far as movies based on books go, it could have been a lot better. It took awhile for the story to properly developed while once meatured, left the audience with multiple holes and questions. The "action" was sub-par as there was maybe one "battle". The acclaimed "Best potter yet" doesn't say much as the previous titles were less than spectacular as well. I would go see it just because its part of the series, but maybe you will be more impressed. Overall, I just didn't "feel the magic".

It was packed out! They sold 4,000 tickets! It was so much fun!!! Everyone was dressed up and really into the event! The movie itself was hilarious, scary, sad, and awesome! It followed the book really well and added a couple scenes and details that just added really well to the overall production! The cast definitely showed more depth in this movie and you really got to see how talented they are! But my absolute favorite part was that you were finally shown the truly evil person that is Lord Voldemort! I cannot wait for Part 1 of Deathly Hallows!

There were some very humorous moments as well as some very tragic ones. Overall, stood true to the books, the core material was there if not presented in a different way. The best portions were covered by both actors that played Tom Riddle. Each exactly brought an unique element and exactly what I would have pictured.

Half Blood Prince (movie), like the book, was just not all that interesting. I can see how humor was added to try and fix that, although in my opinion it subtracted from the grim mood that is needed to set up the seventh book (which is the only real point of this chapter in the HP story anyways). It was definitely not my favorite Harry Potter, and I think it could have been done better, but it is still Harry Potter (aka you must see it).
Now only 2 more years of waiting in agony for the next (and best?) one.

I simply loved Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. From the get go the movie was absolutely amazing. I have always loved every Harry Potter film as they come, but with this one, there was something extra special.
The movie was shot beautifully of course, by award winning cinematographer Bruno Delbonnel...his amazing camera work only added to the movie's pure magic.
The acting was spectacular from all the actors, especially Alan Rickman, Michael Gambon, and Tom Felton. I have never really liked Gambon's portrayal of Dumbledore, however in this film he was spot on and delivered an amazing and heart wrenching performance. This movie was absolutely amazing and leaves me in awe, eagerly awaiting the two part finale.

This was yet another enjoyable adventure with our by-now old familiar friends at Hogwarts. This one seemed lacking in energy compared to previous films in the franchise, and the ending is disappointingly lifeless compared to the ending in the book. If you have not read the book, the movie will probably be extremely satisfying, and for us readers, well, I guess we need to get over our obsession with seeing the books come to life exactly as written.

First off, Totally not the movie I wanted to see. Things were added, that were NOT necessary, other things omitted that NEEDED to be in there. I don't know what they were thinking when they made this. I'm not saying it needs to be just like the book, but I'm pretty much calling this "movie" a mess. It was terrible. I would love to explain how many things didn't make sense.. BUT I don't have the space for that.
Pretty much this movie failed, epicly.

I never read the 6th book so I may have enjoyed the movie more then others. The movie is full of suprises and keeps your interest. It was very well done and even though it's 2 & a half hours long it goes by fast! The movies keep getting better and better, you won't be dissapointed so go see it! It's worth every penny to see it in theaters.

I REALLY REALLY REALLY enjoyed Harry Potter 6. It was SO FUN to go to the midnight showing. Some parts were SO FUNNY. The special effects were really good. The only thing that is negative is that it wasn't as scary as the book, because it is only rated PG.
