I felt this movie was even better than Batman Begins. Several twists in it that caught me off guard. I can only hope there will be a third installment,with the same magnitude of film making as this one. I plan on seeing this several times.

I had friends who saw the movie before I did, and they said that the movie was really great, so this made my expectations very high, and I was not disappointed. The Dark Knight, had to have been one of the best movies that I have seen this year.It is wonderful that they pretty much stayed with the comic, and I cannot wait to see which villain will be played next. I cannot wait for the next Batman movie to come to theaters.

"The Dark Knight" is definitely the best Batman movie, and probably the best of the superhero genre. Heath Ledger's performance as The Joker is unparalleled. Nolan has delivered the Batman movies we have longed to see.

This was the best Batman movie yet made in my opinion. Could possibly even be the best superhero movie ever. Not a big fan of Health Ledger since Brokeback Mountain, bud his portrayal of the Joker was phenomenal. Definately an Oscar worthy performance. This was a good movie even for people who aren't into the superhero movie genre. Seeing this movie will definately keep you talking with your freinds for hours after the movie.

This was an incredible movie!!! Heath Ledger did a fantastic job as the Joker. He just becomes this character -- nothing like I've ever seen him do before. Very dark humor -- you find yourself laughing at the oddest things. The rest of the cast was great and the plot twists really kept you guessing. Really no slow moments at all. Can't wait to see it again! Not for really young kids though.

I'm a big Christian Bale fan as well as a Heath Ledger fan-and this movie delivered so much! I can't believe how maniacal Ledger was-you forget the sad stuff about him and just get lost in this movie! Bale is by far the best Batman ever. I didn't want this movie to end. I'm going back to see this at an IMAX theater!

This movie was excellent! Me and my brother went to see it 3 times opening day! We went to the midnight showing, went again at 3:30pm and again at 8:40 pm. Then Sunday we saw it again!!!! I can't get enough of it. The action is fantastic and the Joker is the best villian of all time!! Everyone has to see this movie!

I liked everything about the movie---solid acting from everyone, especially Heath Ledger. Christian Bale as Batman, Michael Caine as Alfred, and Morgan Freeman's character were outstanding. Considering the 180-minute length, the Harvey Dent to Two Face transition was hastily done. In contrast, the Joker's character development was very strong and very believable. Already eagerly awaiting the third movie!

This is the BEST Batman I have ever seen, and I have sen them all. I am 57 and remember the TV series with Adam West. This was a awesome follow up from the last Batman staring Christian Bale. I had thought that one was the best. The acting was Oscar caliber. That is hard to do. The raw emotion that they all exhibited made it REAL. I have seen Heath Ledger in Movies since he did the Patriot with Mel Gibson. His talents never cease to amaze me. A tragic loss of a truely gifted actor.

This movie was unbelievable! Granted, all the hype around Heath Ledger made you wonder whether it would be "up to snuff". But, it was, in the vernacular, awesome --- incredibly awesome! Heath Ledger was perfection at its finest! I saw the interview on this website where he said that he didn't want to be compared to Jack Nicholson's "Joker" as that just couldn't be topped. I beg to differ. Heath created, in my mind, the most horrific criminal since Hannibal Lector (and he still gives me the creeps!) If he doesn't get an Oscar nomination and win, then something's wrong with the Oscars and those who make those decisions. The movie's fast, heart-thumping and slick. The dialogue is outstanding and the interplay between the actors is amazing. Special effects are remarkable - no, that's too soft --- they're extraordinary! I don't think I leaned back in my seat the entire movie! I was mesmerized. I have not been to a show in a long time where the audience clapped in several areas before the end of the show! Now, that's Hollywood at it's finest! Entertainment has reached a new height in this movie. While it was bittersweet knowing that we'll not have Heath around anymore, this is an unbelievable testament to this young man's talent. He will be sorely missed. Cudos to the director, actors and the entire cast/crew! It was wonderful!! Thank you for a fabulous time!

This was a great movie. it was better than the first one. The late Heath ledger was insanely talented at this role. His portrayal of Joker was fantastic. Christian Bale was at his pinnacle and as alway Alfred(Caine) and Lucius(freeman) were fantastice. Harvey Dent was a great character and the actor was great. story was great. The new Rachel dawes was eh, glad she died. one cause she wasn't very good(a poor man's mary jane and dunst isn't really any better), but at least dawes has a vital piece in harvey dent and bruces life which tie their characters together (two face). overall, fabulous and creative. sympathy to heaths passing, What a movie......AAAAA+++++

This was a phenominal movie, with outstanding effects. The storyline went a little long, and stretched it out more than I think was necessary...but the portrayal of the 'Joker' by Heath Ledger was an outstanding performance.

The Dark Knight was a well-written, well-acted all around great movie. And was unpredictable, exciting and original. Heath Ledger was amazing as The Joker. This is the only movie I've ever seen (and I watch a lot of movies) were I was in awe of an actor's performance. I'm going to see this movie again and I've only done that twice.

I really enjoyed the movie. Of course Heath Ledger was spectacular!!!! However, the movie was to long. I can't belive they threw a secondary villian (i.e. Harvey Dent) at the end. I think i would have been more satisfied if they didn't wrap up the Two Face sub-plot and let the Joker's star shine brighter. I wish they put a little more humor in Joker's dialog instead of repeating the "Why so serious" face cutting scene too many times. Also, last time I checked, this was a BATMAN movie, not a Two Face/Joker/Commis. Gordon movie. The hand combat with batman seemed a little "Mr. Roboto", and above all; I absolutely hate when Christian Bale uses his big bad BATMAN voice, it sounds retarted. However, I think I've droned on long enough about the negative things as the movie droned on about Two Face. Oh well, what's a girl to do. Overall the movie was still awesome. Hands down the performance by Heath Ledger outshown everyone else tenfold.
