When the movie ended, I then realized just how spellbound I had been throughout the movie. I was finally able to relax and breath. Only one other movie has affected me that way. This was a tremendously exciting movie but very disturbing as well. Kudos to all the actors....they were wonderful. This movie is a Must See.

This movie is just amazing. Chris Nolan and Frank Miller have written a great story and the entire cast is just immersed in their character.
No one will ever be able to beat Heath Legers,may he rest in peace, performance as the Joker

Yes, it has been said over and over again that this movie was going to be spectacular and it was built up and yet still managed to meet all expectations. For the first time in quiet a while all of America can agree on something, The Dark Night is phenomenal. My only criticism, Ledger played the roll all too well after warning from former "Joker," Jack Nicholson to be careful. It's a shame, but he'll certainly go down in movie history.

This movie is deserving of all the hype around it. Heath Ledger as the Joker absolutely makes this movie 100% better. It is a bit darker than other Batman's but that is what makes it so GREAT. Don't ruin the experience for others by taking your kids leave them at home. It is a movie for anyone over the age of 12.
Christian Bale by far makes the best Batman. This movie is worth watching more than once.

This was an awesome sequel to the Batam Begins. Christopher Nolan does it again, creating a brilliant and dark action movie that grips you from the beginning until the final scenes. TOutstanding performances from Heath Ledger, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Aaron Eckhart, Michael Caine and of course, Christian Bale. The only complaint about the movie was Nestor Carbonell clearly wearing eye makeup. He looked ridiculous as the Mayor of Gotham. Makeup! Give me a break.

This movie has enough action to satisfy the summer blockbuster thrill. It also explores all of the characters on a deeper level of what it is to be a "hero". It is a kick butt action film that can be discussed later. All the actors put in top performances but Heath Ledger did an amazing job and lived up to all the hype. Peace to him and his family. Definitely a must see. It is dark though so I would stick to the 13 and older rating or be ready to do a little talk therapy with your kids before bedtime.

remarkable film! Heath Ledger played the joker very well but Christian Bale sounded like a smoker when he had to disguise his voice as Batman. Other than that I loved it but wouldn't recommend it to kids! (too vulgar). Too bad Heath Ledger died though... :-(

May have been the best movie I have ever seen at a theatre. It will probably go on to be one of my top 10 movies of all time (though I plan on watching it at least once more before making that commitment). Its dark, its hard, its fast when it needs to be and slow when the pacing calls for it. I can honestly say I saw nothing in this movie I could think to change to make it better than it was (other than the lack of blood/direct violence due to the rating system).

I'm not a big movie goer in any respect but I've already been to see this move twice now in two days with plans for next week to see it in IMAX. I didn't feel there were any slow points or let downs at all, and Ledgers performance as the Joker was dead on the ticks and twists he added to the character steal the show. I can't wait to buy this movie, and wait for the release on dvd and Blu-Ray.

Totally entertaining. Best movie since Lord of the Rings or Batman Begins. Worth the loss of sleep, midnight showing. Christopher Nolan has totally out done himself. Looking forward to the next sequel. The Bar is set high with this one; let’s see if he can push it higher with the next one. Christian Bale again gives a confident performance. Heath Ledger was surprisingly in deep character so much you often forgot who he really was. I haven’t seen this type of acting since Michael Keaton in Beetle Juice. Wow… Wow… Wow…

The Dark Knight made Iron Man seem shallow and short. It turned Batman Begins into a mere prelude to the real story. H Ledger made J N's Joker seem like a joke. The plot was rich and had alot of unexpected twists. It did run a bit long but wasn't boring for a moment. It far exceded my already high expectations. Ledger's acting stole the show. My only complaints were Bale's voice acting while in the Batman costume came off a little campy and a helicopter crash that you could tell was CG.

As all the hype was building to the debut of this film, I thought there was no way possible it could hold up. I was wrong. Though I wasn't as blown away as some of the critics, this was a damn good flick. Much like Nicholson, Ledgers Joker steals the show. My only gripe? How about a hot love interest for the Batman?
