This movie...right from the start to finish..is brilliant. The action is unbelieveable. Heath Ledger's performance deserves an Oscar...this is his movie...and he has delivered the performance of his life....Christian Bale is his usual best...The dark knight has raised the bar for super hero movies. I cant wait for the 3rd installment of this movie.

I had been anticipating this movie for quite sometime. When I had the chance to go see it I was quite surprised how it kept building and building and just when you think you hit the climax it built up again. The only thing though is that for me this movie was too long. The last 20 or so minutes my attention span was cut short and I forgot what happened to some of the major characters but then again thats just me. Go, see, and enjoy!!!

I really, really liked this movie. I thought Christian Bale and Heath Ledger did an outstanding job. The Joker made this movie, no doubt and it's so sad that Heath Ledger won't be able to reprise his role. With that being said, my only negative feedback on this film was the length. There were several points toward the end where I felt like they could have ended it and set it up for a sequel, but instead, it just kept going. It's just felt kind of long towards the end. Beyond that, it was awesome and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

While the movie is a little longer than I normally like, I enjoyed every minute of it. Nolan brings us back to Frank Miller's darker vision of Batman. Ledger's Joker is as chaotic evil as you can get. When he appears on screen, you want to hide but you also want to watch because you know a car wreck (or worse) is about to happen.

Bale and Ledger gave excellent performances, and alot of good action and special effects. However, last half hour could have been eliminated. Plot got too complicated and difficult to follow and understand. Took away from movie, particularly the Joker's role. He was much more interesting when he just showed up unexpectedly.

Well. What can I say that hasn't already been said. This movie was AWESOME!!!!!!. The performance that Heath Ledger gave was incredible. This Joker was definitely his role. Christian Bale once again lived up to the character of Bruce Wayne/Batman. I will definitely see this movie a number of times befoire the summer is over.

There isn't a single flaw in "The Dark Knight!"
Christian Bale "IS" Batman. His performance was top notch! Heath Ledger will always be remembered for his stellar portrayal of The Joker. No one has ever done justice to either role until now! Add in the fantastic supportive cast, and it just blows you away! Phenomonal!

By far the best movie of the year. Each Character was supported by the perfect actor for the role. Heath Ledger was absolutely amazing as the Joker, no one could have done it better. The movie far exceeded expectation and kept you interested from beginning to end.

I was amazed. I thought the entire cast did a wonderful job, and the director must be a genius. Hands down the best batman movie of any of them, and well worth the price of the ticket. I saw it at the Tempe Cine Capri, with digital sound and largest screen in the state (baring Imax) - the movie stood on its own, but the best sound system and a huge screen added to my enjoyment.

Nothing bad can be said about this movie! So far the best Batman ever done. I love the darkness that Christian portrayed, it was what the true Bat was all about. I hope Heath is watching everyone rave about his character he created. He truly put forth what the Joker was supposed to be. Keep it coming Christopher Nolan. The fans want MORE!!! That is really all I can say about the film. There is too much one could discuss and I'd be here forever. It's like, overwhelming me right now just thinking about just exactly why the film was beyond. So I'll just focus on the underrated character. CHICAGO. Holy fruckin' beautiful, Batman! I was born and raised, a native, but to see Chicago on IMAX, and to see all the sequences shot in IMAX, at Navy Pier, on opening night, at 9pm, in the very center of the theatre... I will remember that for a very long time. Chicago was absolutely breathtaking. The film in IMAX was absolutely breathtaking. And I'm so with Chris Nolan, man... that's how all movies should be shot from now on. I loved everything about this film. EVERYTHING. I've seen it twice. Can't wait to see it again... in IMAX, because now I'm spoiled and I can't ever see it in any other format, ever, again. :) Every actor was amazing in this, but yes, I agree with the hype. Heath Ledger deserves the oscar.

See this one if you have any sort of pulse and rigor mortis hasen't set in yet. A truly sick and twisted Joker played by Heath Ledger made Batman look limp and wimpy as an adversary. This is the role that Ceasar Romero and Jack Nicholson wish they could have had. Everyone else was simply a supporting actor to this really spectacular performance...truly Oscar winning or I'll eat my hat. See it in IMAX if possible, but see it any way you can !!!

This movie is by far one of the best I have ever seen. Heath Ledger puts forward a performance that actually (for the first time ever) created a villain I went home actually scared of. I went into this film with high expectations, especially after how thrilling Batman Begins was, and those high expectations were fully, and thoroughly surpassed. A MUST SEE for 2008

The Dark Knight was a great movie but to put five stars on something means it must be special. I would put five stars on Heath Ledger's role as the Joker. I would put five stars on Christian Bale's role as Bruce Wayne. The movie is worth spending the money to go see in theaters but I'm not sure if it is "special" enough to receive five stars. I have a few complaints about The Dark Knight but I will leave them to myself. I do think you will enjoy your experience aslong as there isn't a group of teenage girls in the front row. Teenage girls ruin every movie experience!

Allright, it was a great movie. Heath Ledger,
a dark roll with an equally dark performance.
But,,, when Batman opens his mouth,, what is that voice? Should he lossen his neck cozy just a touch? Wish he would have. He dosen't need to disguise his voice, Batman as we know wheres a mask to fool everyone! What was the director thinking? Perhaps comedy? I don't know but after that it could have been Merv Griffin playing Batman for all I cared.

The Best BATMAN ever and Heath stole the show!!! Story was well concieved and the addition of TWO FACE was also portrayed well by Aaron Eckart. Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman seemed to have more than the first film and complimented Christian Bale's performance.

This movie was more than impressive. Anyone who didn't like it doesn't have good taste! As far as the time length..... how is a batman movie too long??? If your a true fan then you loved it and would have wanted it to be even longer, duh!!!! "It's all part of the plan" Best Joker I have ever seen, never thought jack could be beat!!!! Last thought..... no need to even listen to the reviews, look how much $ this movie has brought in....... it speaks for itself!!!!!! Check it out, get some popcorn and a soda, sit back and enjoy the ride!!!!!!!
