The
Dark Knight was phenomenal. Great script, great acting by all and it
was dark but had it's laughable moments. Heath Ledger was awesome as
the joker, he made it his own, just like Bale has made Batman his own
and just like Eckhart will definitely make two-face his own fantastic
character. My only question is where are they going to take the third
one, it's going to get darker, and it's going to be good, but what do
they do with the joker?

This movie was very entertaining. Heath Ledger did a great job portraying the Joker, he gave the character a great deal of depth that has yet to be seen in the movie portrayal of him. Even though it was a very multidimensional performance it was not "Oscar worthy" as many people have been saying. It was an superb performance but in the end it was still a superhero movie.
This movie was definitely one that I would see again in theaters, probably IMAX.
There were a lot of twists and humor throughout the movie but they only added to the overall experience. Event though it's 2 and a half hours it did not drag on and kept me and the whole theater captivated.
GO SEE IT!

Its rare to see a movie that actually lives up to the anticipation. Yes, Heath Ledger is that good, and yes, its actually a great story (not just random explosions and chases). I can imagine some mixed reviews about the ending, but its impossible to please everyone.

Nolan's second installment of his Batman series is phenomenal as a whole. There were a few minor problems with it that I saw, but I can easily overlook them thanks to the stellar performance of Heath Ledger, who truly stole the show; if he doesn't get an Oscar nod for this performance, I'll be extremely shocked. The film sets itself up for another installment, now the only thing I have to think about is how long it will take Christopher and Jonathan Nolan to write the screenplay.
Overall, great movie and I highly suggest you drop whatever it is you are doing right now and go see it. You won't be disappointed I'm sure.

The Dark Knight was one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. Heath Ledger was incredible as the joker, and completely took on that role. There was not a dull moment in the 2 hours and 30 minutes. I would definitely recommend this movie, and encourage everyone to go see it in theaters.

This is my favorite Batman to date. Christian Bale is a sexy Batman and Heath Ledger had the performance of a lifetime as Joker. I was mesmerized and didn't feel disappointed by the end like other movies that leave you hanging on purpose. I do NOT recommend this movie to any pre-teen or younger person. No, there is not blood and guts but the movie gets into your head in an intense way. Joker is that perfect balance between comic effect and pure anarchy that is poke you in the eye intense.

This movie was absolutely amazing! Heath Ledger's proformance was Oscar worthy but will unfortunately be snubbed do to his untimely death. He captured the Joker better than I have ever seen. Truely I "Mass-murdering Clown!" Chris Nolan will without a doubt win Best Director. He did a brilliant job with this sequal. I look forward to "The Return of Raz?" hahahah!

Well aside from the annoying late start and the ton of previews it was well worth the wait. Heath plays an amazing joker, perhaps even better than Nicholson as he really brought out the deranged psycho in the character. Harvey Dent (two-face) was a great cast as well, better than Tommy Lee-jones thats for sure. And christian bale once again plays the batman Clooney could never be. Definite need to see movie of 2008.

I think this will go down as one of the best batman movies ever reached. I had my doubts about how Heath would play the joker roll but let me tell you he passed with flying colors. He was simply amazing. The movie was non stop action and the suspense in some parts was overwhelming. This is definately one of those movies i would pay to go see again

After the midnight opening of The Dark Knight (the hour only adding to the viewing experience), it is clear to me that the production and direction teams mean to distance this superhero franchise from the others by simply blowing them out of the water. A franchise that I already enjoy thoroughly has heard the cries from its die-hard fans to become the most realistic (excluding some fantastic gadgets), exciting, and yes, "badass" superhero series to date.
Superhero movies have become somewhat tame in terms of conflict and radical in terms of unnatural ability. The Dark Knight proves that movies of the genre don't have to fit that mold. This movie is wrought with political, social, and personal conflict. Not only is the personality and internal strife associated with Batman advanced, but the hype surrounding the Joker couldn't even come close to living up to the standard of performance turned in by Heath Ledger. It was sad to hear about Ledger's death, but this praise is not won out of sympathy - his performance was simply extraordinary, and would have been had he not passed away.
Plot twists, solid character development, romance, distorted views of reality, mind games, shocking events, edge-of-your-seat action, superb acting, and a screenplay bolstered by the Joker that might be bordering on genius...
Go see this movie. It's hard to say so soon after seeing it, but it might just be my favorite superhero movie of all time - possibly one of my favorite movies of all time, period.

This film more than lived up to all he hype. Ledger was incredible as the Joker, pulling off a psychotic criminal mastermind to a tee. Bale was better in this than in Batman Begins, but Ledger stole the show. Maggie Gyllenhaal played Rachel Dawes much better than Katie Holmes did in Batman Begins and it was obvious to see what Holmes is lacking in her acting arsenal is ever present in Gyllenhaal's. I loved seeing Anthony Michael Hall as the news broadcaster because I haven't seen him in anything since The Dead Zone. Ledger is the centerpiece to this incredible cast who all performed incredibly well. Christopher Nolan did a wonderful job directing this cast and the fight scenes were great. I highly recommend this film.

I was a little apprehensive about seeing this movie and what it was actually going to be like but overall I was very impressed. Heath Ledger did an amazing job as the Joker. He was probably the best character in the movie as far as how well he was protrayed by the actor. I do however believe this movie is getting a little over hyped. While it was very good and definatly worth seeing again, I felt that in a way I was let down a little because I was expecting the greatest movie of all time, which this isn't. I am not saying its a bad movie but I do believe it needed a little something extra to be a truely great movie that will be around forever.
Overall, 5 starts, 2 thumbs up, 10 out of 10, its just an all around good movie!!

I went to the movie not expecting much from the Joker in this movie, thinking only the hype of this character was due to Heath's passing(RIP), but I was utterly blown away! If you think Jack's portrayal couldn't be topped your in for a shock! I won't say much else except you need to get out there and see it!! It's worth the time and money!

The movie was great! There was lots of action and violence. Special effects and explosions were awesome. Acting was pretty good, I thought Maggie (Rachel) could have done a bit better (she did better than Katie did). The whole movie flowed well but the last 30 mins or so are very conserversial.
