For start, most batman movies are good, but this one has to be one of best story line i have ever seen & all the charters where brilliant, If you have 3 Hrs to kill someday go check it out.
Oh, yea this is suited for for little kids, this very dark, more suited for Adults.

Outstanding performance on part of all actors. Fast paced - although there's really not a climax, rather a very high, but deliberately sustained plateau. Action scenes are incredible. It is not gory nor does it require this - which appropriately gives it a rating of PG-13. Although, I believe the movie's deeper and darker side is too adult for most 13-year olds - which may stem from the complexity of joker's character. I would place the Dark Knight, perhaps prematurely, in the category of all-time-movie greats.

Non stop thrilling action, I wish that the movie was paced a little bit slower. Ledger's portrayal of Joker was truly great. Eeckhart and Gyllenhall shine in their performances and Bale, Caine and Freeman are at their usual best.

Everyone says how great this movie is, but what you need to realize is all of the different levels of amazing it hits. Every emotion is experienced while watching this movie: happy, sad, scared, anxious, you name it. I have no complaints about this movie. Every little moment was intense. Every person involved in this movie should get an award for the most amazing experience ever. Heath Ledger could not have portrayed Joker in a more accurate way; I have never been so impressed by an actor. I will recommend this movie for years to come. Every one should have a chance to experience this movie-altering phenomenon. Be careful bringing younger kids to this show though, it is a kind of a dark and meaningful movie and I would say a child would not enjoy the movie like they would expect to and they might even leave crying.

Talk of Heath Ledger's performance was not exaggerated for he did an excellent job as The Joker. The shear insanity of the character and his actions made me laugh on more than one occassion. I don't want to short-change the rest of the cast either because they did great jobs- Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent/Two-Face was spot on, Christian Bale rocks as does Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and Gary Oldman.

Go see this movie! The movie was intense and action packed and when I thought it was over it wowed you with surprise after surprise. The only down side was the actress who played Rachel it was a disappointment not to see Katie H. back in the role.

This movie is the best movie I have seen in a long time. Heath Ledger's performance was amazing. He portrayed the Joker to the best and I think even Tim Burton would agree he performance was better than Jack Nicholson. The Joker (aka Heath Ledger) stole the show. The movie never gets boring. Christopher Nolan made this movie absolutely fabulous. I would most likely give this movie 10 stars but because we can only give it 5 I gave it 5. See it. This movie is absolutely fabulous.

This movie has it all! It made me hold my breath and drew out emotions that left me feeling exhausted at the end.
The action/adventure was awesome and I have not seen this much special effects in a very long time.
Heath Ledger was fabulous and it is sad his life was cut short. His performance was the show stealer.
I will watch it over and over again and can't wait until it is out on DVD. Enjoy

I went to the 12:01 showing, tired from working all day, I even took a nap in my car waiting for the theater to let me in, but by the end of the film I was wide awake. I spent the entire 2 1/2 hours on the edge of my seat. Heathe Ledger's performance is nothing short of brilliant, it's so sade that he won't be able to reprise his role. He was soo in it and disturbingly genius that I can see how the role got to him. Christian Bale was great as usual, though I feel like he had way less lines than a main character should have, but Batman is not the main character (which made the film great). If the film was about Batman, it would have been titled Batman. This film is about so much more than the caped crusader. It's about Gotham City, it's class of villain and how it's biggest villain is it's greatest hero. Once again, this is not the Batman of the 90's, this is DC comics' Batman: gritty, dark & human. Bruce Wayne is just a regular man, no super powers, just smarts and human condition and that's what the films show. By far, the best film of 2008 so far.

This film was pretty good. Very well done as far as direction and cenematography. I always appreciate a director who can make a film like this without relying completely on CGI. I did think it ran a little too long and some things could have probably been cut. Maybe I was just really tired though. Christian Bale makes a good batman, but his Batman voice was pretty horrible at times. Morgan, Gary, Michael, Aaron- all were fantastic in their various roles. Heath Ledger definitely gave the best performance of his life. He completely lost himself in this horribly sadistic character, yet managed to make him funny as well. I think I need to probably see it again though to really enjoy it, because as I said, I was really tired.

The has got to be the summers greatest movie. Don't ignore the hype - it's all worth it.
This isn't my personal favorite Batman film, that's still "Batman Returns", but this is definitely, by far, the best-made Batman film. "Batman Begins" was just a prelude, this is the full monty.
Joker is incredible and steals the show. Harvey Dent is quite compelling as well.
Christian Bale plays the spoiled billionaire to a tea.
It's excellent. Don't miss this one!

Heath was so believable. What a great actor he evolved into! Heath’s portrayal of the Joker far out surpasses Jack Nicholson's version of the Joker or anyone prior to him. Heath really put his heart and soul into this very dark movie. The Joker could have played on forever! Heath will be missed!

I wasn't sure what to think when I read that Ledger had created an "iconic" villain on the BBC but I can think of no better word for his work. The late actor did a truly incredible job of re-creating the Joker.
His stunning performance however, was not alone. Each roll in the film was extremely well acted which made for an incredible execution of a great plot that was intricate enough to keep you thinking to see what was next.
My only surprise was that the movie was pretty intense relative to other PG-13 rated movies... it's doesn't bother me what the rating is but I was quite disappointed to see parents taking younger kids to this movie.
This movie will be added to my collection once available for certain and I'm likely to go see it in theaters again. I highly recommend seeing it!

This new Batman movie kept pace beautifully with Batman Begins. It was every bit well crafted, intense and came out with a message that stays with you. Well done. The action scenes were incredible. Heath's performance was outstanding and disturbing. Christian Bale is awesome, as usual. The whole cast was at the top of their game!
