One of the best movies I've seen in years. A lot of talk has been about Ledger. But I thought Eckhart's and Oldman's performance warrant attention. Could have been shorter. I plan to see it again.

Heath Ledger stole the show as the Joker. He did a phenomenal job in this movie. The effects were amazing, and I can't believe there is no CGI in this film. They really did some unbelievable stunts! The story is really well written, with some great one liners thrown in. Overall, one of the best films I have seen.

Heath's perfromance as the joker was not only completely believable ,but utterly terrrifying and unpredictable. Unlike the joker played by Jack Nicholison, Heath created a villian that you felt was a real sociopath. When i was watching it, i knew it was Heath ,but I couldn't believe it actually was him because he completely transformed into the joker.His mannerisms were chilling and the flim never failed to deliever to its hype. Out of all the movies i have ever seen. it is obvious that he gave this character his all and it's something no one has seen before. Heath left a legacy to remeber and a perfromance that will be talked about for years to come. Heath showed us that he was just getting started with his career and there is no doubt in my mind that "The Dark Knight" will blow everyone who watches it away , even people who aren't Heath Ledger fans. This movie was Heath's masterpiece and it is more than worthy of an ocsar. You HAVE to see this movie, it is incredible

I went to the midnight premier and saw it again later that evening. The second time was still exciting for me but this time I thought more about Heath and how sad that he is not around to see his work and how great the film is doing and how he will not be here to accept his awards. EXCELLENT MOVIE.

The entire movie seems to be a vehicle for fight scenes, explosions, stunts and motor vehicles blowing up. I was not compelled to care about any of the characters. Heath Ledger's Joker was the most developed of any of the characters and was certainly an outstanding performance. Overall, however, the film left me unmoved.

Most of the movie was shot after or in the dark which made following some of the action tuff. Also the sound effects were louder than the dialogue which was a problem, (not sure if this was a theater issue or not).
Over all I would say an 8 out of 10.
Will buy it when released - to watch in my theater minus all the chatter/munching/ bag crinkling noise!

The Dark Knight is now my favorite movie of all time. The movie was amazing in all aspects. The sound was great, it was vissually superb, the Joker was an incredible villian, Batman stills kicks butt, the plot was great, it was interesting that they added another character from the comic series, and the acting was phenominal. Heath Leadger should win an Oscar for his role as the Joker. I see this movie winning many awards.

This movie was amazing. There is not a single moment that I did not find myself on the edge of my seat wanting to see what was going to happen next. It is defiantly a movie will leave on tired from all the suspense by the end of the film. Ledger's performance was disturbing and impeccably done. This movie, unlike many, actually met all the hype that was built up about it and exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it.

This movie is so incredible. All the cast members are superb. Heath Ledger should have the oscar, no doubt in my mind. and not just out of pity, but because his acting was so fantastic. He actually creeps you out. He has little nicks, and just characteristics of what you think the joker would actually be like. He is not campy like that horrible Jack Nicholson version. He's an anarchistic, punk like freak.
Christian Bale once again thoroughly impressed me with his acting. He is dark and mysterious again which is how Batman is supposed to be. Michael Caine has never once failed to entertain me and he continued that streak for another movie. Gary Oldman and Aaron Eckhart are fantastic. Everyone in this movie is the best possible person for that role.
If you have'nt seen this movie you have to. i promise you will not be dissapointed. GO SEE IT!!!!!

This movie was everything we want Batman to be. Bruce Wayne is a playboy with beautiful women on his arm and money to throw around at his leasure. Batman is a dark, tormented soul who tries his best to serve the Right while being on the edge of sanity and society. The Joker is a pathalogical maniac who, somehow, still makes you laugh. Harvey Dent -- Brilliant. I will say no more.
Everything you -want- visually and emotionally, is in this movie. It's pure gold.

Batman Begins was not only a perfect way to revamp the batman series after such failures as Batman and Robin, but it also became a masterpeice as Director Christoper Nolan presented us with the story of the origin of Batman. Nolan Presents a new story in the life of Batman that forces him to make decisions that eventually mold him into something more than Batman as he becomes the "The hero that Gotham Deserves" namely: The Dark Knight. The Dark knight Is a briliantly told epic that ever so slightly passes its predeccesor in terms of story style and a great villan. Heath Ledger does an amazing job of portraying the Joker as a deranged yet somehow likable sycopath criminal. As always Cristian Bale Does a perfect job as bruce wayne and Batman. Watch Batman Begins then see this movie and then see it again and you will see how Brilliant the batman Series has become.
