This is one of the best movies in a long time. I thought the first one was pretty good but this one is outstanding. Excellent job with the script and transferring it to the screen. I was in a theater of over 300 and not one person made a sound during the movie. Heath deserves to be nominated if not win the oscar for best actor. This is a must see. Can't wait for the next one.

This movie was amazing! The acting by all characters was great, though Heath Ledger definitely took the lead. This is definitely darker than other batman movies and the Joker is a truly terrifying villian. I pity anyone who doesn't see this movie.

This movie was incredible. Heath Ledger stole the show. It's unfortunate that he is not here to bask in the fruits of his labor. He gave an Oscar worthy performance. Christian Bale gave it his best but was a supporting character in his own movie. The Joker kept the theater laughing, yelling, gasping, and begging for more. The story was well written and tied the 2 Face story in nicely in a way that Spiderman 3 failed to do with it's jambalaya of criminals. I didn't even feel like I was in the theater for well over 2 hours. I could have stayed another 2 if the story kept going. I plan on seeing it again on Monday and possibly a third time. Without question I'll buy the dvd when it jobs. Kudos to DC comics. Marvel had been killing the game but DC has snatched the crown momentarily.

In my opinion, this Batman is one of the best ever. Christian Bale and Heath Ledger combine to form one of the most dynamic hero / villian partnerships. The movie can be a bit long as they wind down the different sub plots, but it is a non stop thrilling (if sometimes predictable) action movie that you will not want to miss. I went with my family to this movie and my mom, who has never seen a single Batman movie, was intrigued and entertained the entire 2.5 hours.

This movie was amazing from beginning to end. The entire cast did an excellent job, mostly Heath Ledger. I've never seen the Joker played that way before. He is the best Joker I've seen and left the bar very high for the next person who decides to wear the paint. I am hoping that Chris Nolan does not recast the Joker for the third film not only because I do not believe there is anyone who could play him as well as Ledger did, but as a way to remember Ledger in his final film. Bale, Morgan, Caine, and Eckert also did an amazing job with their characters. Although the movie had a 2 1/2 hour run time, it kept you on the edge of your seat. I did not want the movie to end. All in all i could not find one flaw in the movie from directing, acting, cameras, visuals, and stunts. It is a true work of art and SHOULD receive multiple Oscar nominations. I plan on seeing it multiple more times and if u haven't seen it, you are missing out on not only the best movie of the summer but possibly the best movie for a long time.

Some will say T-2, but it didn't have anything to live up to. Batman Begins was an excellent film. This sequal squashes it completly. It runs 30 minutes too long in my estimation- that last 30 minutes are still excellent- its like having incredible desert and then having your wif'e's mom bring out more and you just have to eat it- you feel full is all.

I went to this movie expecting something along the lines of the first movie, "Batman Begins". This movie is a thousand times better and just completely blew me away. And that is saying a lot considering I absolutely loved the first movie. Best movie of the year, no doubt.

DK takes superhero movies to the next level. It features a great plot, great action, excellent acting, just great all around. Heath Ledger was definitely stole the show, he saved his greatest showing for his last. Don't know how batman 3 would be without him, but i still can't wait

The more realistic portrayal of the characters over the first series of Batmans is more attractive and gripping. Heath Ledger's performance definitely lives up to the hype.
The movie runs a little long, but at such points there is a lot more action. So, it ends up being worth it. Also, I saw the 11p show, so that may have played into the fact that I wanted it to be over towards the end.
Overall, I liked the movie and highly recommend it.

The story kept you in the whole time and it was the most face paced 2 and 1/2 hrs of my life. Heath Ledger was amazing and has shown us a whole new level of fear. 5 out of 5 stars.

The Dark Knight (TDK) is a fantastic thriller, suspense, action adventure movie about a super hero. This is not your average super hero movie. If you are going to see another Ironman movie ...dont. This movie is superior to Ironman as Gone with the wind is superior to the Dukes Of Hazard.
Tha acting is phenomenal in this movie. Nobody lets up. The direction is superior to any superhero movie thats ever been made. I tried to find Heath Ledger in this movie but all I could find was the Joker. WOW!!
If you miss the oppurtunity to see this show on the big screen you will be kicking yourself for a long while. Don't wait for the DVD. I took my eleven year old son, and he seemed to be fine with it, but I don't think I could take my 9 year old daughter without it bothering her.
Don't miss out. See TDK!!!!

Everything about the movie was superb--the action, the acting, the special effects. The only negative was the ending. Why were the police deaths blamed on Batman? How dumb was that? They should have been blamed on the Joker. Everyone I've spoken to has said the same.

I've never been big into comic books, but this movie was awesome. The entire cast was so great and it has to be said that Heath Ledger did an amazing job. If you went into the theater not knowing who was playing The Joker you never would have guessed. He immersed himself into this character and it was a great performance. It's the action movie you have to see.

I was looking forward to this movie ever since "Batman Begins" came out three years ago. The cast and crew of this movie have taken legendary settings and characters from the original stories and portrayed them with an artistic grace and realism that leaves nothing lacking. All of my inflated expectations of this film were met and even exceeded.

The picture was dark in mood--that was good. It was full of action and H. Leger did an excellent job in portraying the Joker. It is ashamed that he died. I really believe that his role was Oscar material.

This movie was excellent I would recommend it to everyone, of course Christian Bale and the rest of the cast were great but I do have to say that Heath Ledger was outstanding. There is no one who could be a better Joker. I waited in line over an hour just to get into the theater and it was worth every minute just hands down the best Batman movie ever. And lastly Two-face looked awesome, way to go Christopher Nolan!
