This movie definitely met my expectations. I enjoyed every minute of it. The action was great, the performances were great, everything was just amazing. Heath Ledger did an incredible job as the Joker---very scary & sadistic. I'm so glad I saw this movie but the only negative thing I found was that it was very dark (hence, the title) & that it wasn't the "fun" super hero movie you would expect. But overall, I give it 2 thumbs up. GO SEE IT!!!

The movie itself is a bit long (2.5 hrs) but it is worth watching Heath Ledger as the Joker. He was such a great actor and he proves it well in this movie.
If he does not get an Oscar nod I would be highly upset!

Without a doubt, the best,darkest movie of it's genre. ( as it should be) A total thrill ride! Heath Ledger's role as the Joker was spellbinding. My wife and I couldn't wait for his next appearance in the film. Just when we thought the movie had peaked, another twist would appear- but never over reaching. An excellent story.

There was a lot going on in this movie, but at the same time some parts of the movie were a little slow. But at the same time it was truly amazing. If you want crazy action and probably one of the longest car chases I've ever seen, I'd say go for it and spend your 10 dollars on the Dark Knight. Christian Bale and Heath Ledger give a stellar performance. The pure corruption of Gotham is depicted so well in this film, and you really start to feel for the characters. You alsmost feel bad for the Joker, as we learn a little about his past. Although the movie was very very long, and your butt will start to hurt beginning around the "hospital scene" (at least mine did) I think it is very worth it, and I'm very glad I saw this film. Much much better than batman begins! What are you waiting for!

Excellent movie! Heath Ledger's performance of the Joker was awesome. The movie made me scream and jump a few times and I found myself needing a massage afterwards because I was so tense throughout the viewing. There were several things that took place that were not expected. A little bit of a cliff hanger when it came to the end with the Joker but probably because Heath died. I highly recommend this movie to adults but not children. They may have nightmares after watching the movie.

Heath Ledger has made amazing movies, but I think his performance in The Dark Knight was spectacular! He took the character and made it seem like a real physo-path. He keeps you on the tip of your seats, while Batman dives in and saves the day. Everytime you think the Joker was caught a very suspected but yet NON-SUSPECTED thing happens and the movie just keeps going! Its a long movie but its worth seeing. No one can top this movie! But I think as Heath Ledgers last big performance, should go down in history! This is the best batman movie you will ever see! And all the right characters/actors are playing in it! You cant get anything better then this!

There are not enough superlatives to say about this movie. It keeps you on the edge throughout. Whether it's the uneasiness brought about by the Joker & his philosophies, or the tragedy brought on by the story of Harvey Dent. It's as close to a (super?)hero masterpiece that's been been made thus far. Bravo!
