I was completely blwon away by this movie. Acting, special effects, everything. After hearing it was a 2 1/2 hour movie I was worried that the story would just drag but it didn't. Most definitly the darkest of any of the Batman films.
Heath Ledger gave a magnificint performance as a deranged Joker. Will definitly be the performance he is remembered for. "Evening Commissioner". WOW!

Best superhero ever made.
It lived up to all the hype and I wasn't disappointed. The movie is 2 hrs. 30 min. but it doesn't even seem like it is that long. There are no slow points, the action is engaging and the plot line is solid.

Heath Ledger was an excellent villain. He played that role so convincingly that I thought about it the next day all day. The special effects and story line was great! I would not, however, bring young children say 12 and under, to see this movie. There was a boy around 9 sitting by us and he was very uncomfortable with some of the scenes.

Heath Ledger as the Joker stole the show (absolute cinamatic heaven) Aside from the running time and Batman pushing his voice a bit much (when he was in costume) It was absolutely the best Batman movie EVER! I would have liked to see more of Morgan Freeman's character/Lucious Fox. Maybe next time!

I always get so hyped up for movies, and then am sorely disappointed. I have to say, for one of the first times I was actually completely impressed and not disappointed at all. Heath Ledger brought such a wonderful presence to the screen and added such small detail as to make the joker legendary and grand. All the little quirks and details that movies usually lack and force them to fall short were not a problem here. This movie was solidly built on detail. Wonderful performance all around.

Wonderful acting and storytelling - Definitely not for kids. Though never actual blood is shown - sticking a knife in the mouth and hearing the story of a drunken father asking his son why he is serious is not really a pleasant visual image. Wonderful stunts, including the flip of the 18 wheeler. No talking but just the way that Heath pushes cell phone buttons during the hospital bombing leaves the true image of the Joker who takes crime casually.

Most amazing movie I have ever seen. It is a not just a comic book movie. It is more than that. The theme and issues are deep and give the movie more character and depth than its counterparts. The joker is both utterly terrifying and shockingly hilarious. Batman is a complex character that shows how far his limits really do go. The suspense keeps you wanting more. It is a must-see and I highly recommend IMAX and other BIG screens. Small screens and outdated theaters do not give TDK the true showing it deserves.

I didn't enjoy Batman Begins, but I wanted to see this, like many others, because of the sensationalized "final" performance by Heath Ledger. While Heath was outstanding (that's an understatement), the rest of the cast was fantastic, too! Great storyline, suspence, action, thrills...there's a little something for everyone in this movie. To keep this short... this was easily the best movie I have seen all year if not longer. You don't even need to be batman fan to appreciate or enjoy this movie. It is a fast-paced, hold nothing back film. It was a superior adaptation of the DC Comics classic. Heath Ledger was more than superb as the Joker!
