Heath ledger played The Joker so well. He obviously did his homework on the character, because he got that the joker is not insane but has a "super-sanity" and got how The joker views the world. About the only thing that the movie did not show that is a trademark of The Joker is that he knows when he is in a comic book or animated series. Also I love how Christian Bale has been able to combine Bruce Wayne and Batman. Usually the actor for Bruce/ Batman either plays a good Bruce and not Batman or a good Batman and not a good Bruce.

As someone with a deep faith in doing right and wrong and loving your neighbor as yourself, I was pleasantly surprised at this movie. I being spoon fed on comic book and superhero's since I could remember, was not dissapointed.
The visual's and questions that The Dark Knight brought to me was just extremely thought provoking.
The performance that the late Heath Ledger gave us, is just chilling, and humorous at the same time. So many odd quirks. Just absolutely brilliant.
Everyone gave a really strong performance, the only one that felt alittle flat was Maggie Gyllenhall's Rachel.
Other than that, I would highly recommend this movie to anyone that wants to be entertained and made to think at the same time.
Simply brilliant.

It can be said, over and over, to the end of time. . .
"The Dark Night was the greatest experiance of my natural born life."
But it should also be said that, with Heath Ledger out of order and Harvey Dent-- I don't believe it-- assumedly dead, there is no clue as to the new villain. There has to be a sequal, but there were no new characters added and no hints provided. Is it that squirrelly guy?
Or is Harvey Dent still alive?
I believe in Harvey Dent.

The primary reasosn I saw this movie was to experience Ledger's portrayal of the "Joker". I must say I got my money's worth! Ledger deserves an Oscar without question.

This movie was exceeded any expectation I had. Christian Bale put in another solid performance as Batman. Heather Ledger put in an Oscar worthy performance as the joker. All other parts were played perfectly. I look forward to other fine Batman movies.

I loved how this movie directly tied into the last movie. I also liked how this movie followed the comic book a little more closely than the previous ones, with one exception; the creation of Two-Face. The stunts were great and the props and toys were great as well. Very high tech and up to date. LOVED IT!!!!!

AMAZING probably the best movie i have seen as far back as i can even remember. I never write reviews for movies but this movie was simply incredible. So epic that even a casual movie-watcher such as myself has seen it three times in the opening weekend. I highly recommend this movie to everyone.

The much-anticipated movie definitely did just what we were all hoping it would do. Heath's performance was incredible, but don't discount Aaron Eckhart. The movie was very, very dark, but Gotham is a dark and dreary and crime-ridden place. The Joker in this movie was very scary, unlike the ludicrous cartoon that Jack Nicholson made it back in the 80's. I would highly recommend this film for everyone.

Somewhere behind the Burton-Keaton '89 effort but ahead of any other sequels. About as good as the first Nolan-Bale episode.

I thought the movie was very entertaining! It definitely lived up to my expectations. I've been hearing the "buzz" about Heath's potential Oscar nomination. I can't say I agree with that, but he did a very good job.

Excellent follow up from the first Batman. I was concerned it would be filmed dark like the previous Batman/Joker movie. However, "Dark Knight" was true to form with the first Batman. With twists and turns this movie moves at a good pace and keeps your attention all the way through. Go and see-- you'll love it.

Kind of long but still the 2 1/2 hours passed pretty fast, lots of action and a pretty decent plot. I would definetly recomend it.

As a mom, it's hard to break away for a few minutes, let alone a few hours. By far, this was the best 2.5 hours I have ever spent watching a movie. Heath Ledger stole the show.
