Despite the 2.5 hr length, I was engaged and excited throughout the entire movie! Heath Ledger stole the show with his creepy-crawly portrayal of the Joker.

This movie delivered on mostly all aspects. Heath Ledger really stole the movie from every other actor. His blend of insanity, hysteria, and evil left me and the rest of the audience waiting for his next scene. Bale reprises his role perfectly and takes the Dark Knight to the place where the other attempts at Batman movies failed to do. Oldman and Caine perform as true veterans, Gyllenhaal is a breath of beautiful fresh air and Eckhart does a decent job. This is a movie worth repeating

This movie does not disappoint in any way. I laughed, jumped, almost cried and was riveted every second. I love that it was a longer movie. I didn't want it to end. I'm going back on Friday to see it at IMAX. I know this will be an amazing movie to see 4 stories high. Can't wait!

The movie is action packed and will keep you on the edge of your seat. It's nice to finally see a movies series that continues to the Dark Knight image that has become the epitome of Batman's character. The darkness of the characters applies to all the villains in the movie as well. Batman is more intimidating than the previous movie series, and villains have a sharper air of realism in them. This sequel is a great continuation of the first and leaves prepped and ready for more to come.

Although darker than Batman Begins, this film was better acted and directed. Heath Ledger's performance, as heralded by so many, was truly inspired. Definitely a must see, whether you are a die-hard fan of the bat or not!

This takes over where The Empire Struck back, this should be known as the best sequel ever! Unless you count "Silence of the Lambs" as the sequel to "Manhunter".
Even as over hyped as the acting was for Heath, his performance was excellant. But even better, the plot for the movie was outstanding! Twists at the right places and of course some reality was thrown into the mix.
It was a thrill ride from start to finish, litterally on the edge of my seat. Great job.

After I saw Batman Begins I thought it would be the best batman movie ever, and I thought that would stand for some time. But this movie is by far the best batman movie, and in my opinion the best superhero movie/comic book mivoe to date. Heath Ledger really became the joker in this role, its no wonder it drove him crazy. The plot was tremendous and the struggle between good and evil is beyond the normal good guy vs bad guy. It is very well done, and I highly recommend this movie to anyone and everyone looking for a great action/adventure flick.
5 stars is a minimum for this one.

Really good movie. I wasn't sure if I'd be that into it as all the reviews talked about was the amazing acting job by Heath Ledger. Not that I don't appreciate good acting, but it isn't always what brings me to the movies. But this film was better than I ever imagined it would be. Even better than Batman Begins, which I thought was better than the first four Batman movies. Does not seem like a long movie even though it's 2.5 hours. Well worth the time, I enjoyed it.

It was a great movie...action packed, exciting, etc. The only problem was (which I knew was going to happen) was the Heath Ledger scenes. He had such a sweet soul and for this to be his last performance....well, it is sort of creepy. He did an amazing job, needless to say. Everyone...entire cast was amazing, except Maggie Gyllenhall. They should have brought back the old Rachel.
Overall, very good movie, but the one time was enough...not a repeat movie for me.

I really enjoyed this movie thoroughly. There was one point in the middle where I found myself wondering what time it was and how close we were to the end of it, which is a sure sign that it was dragging ever so slightly, but then I totally lost track of time again and at the end of the movie, I was breathless, thinking "It's over already?!?". Fantastic movie.

This movie satisfies and is so incredible on several levels. Heath Ledger is unbelievable. No other comment will suffice for his performance. The action was awesome, the plot was unpredictable (thanks to the Joker), and when you thought it was coming to a close, there was more! It was completely amazing.

This movie did not disappoint--action, story, and acting were all solid. It was great to see the Joker portrayed as a real character and not just a crook with a gimmick. Heath was amazing; there were times I laughed when I shouldn't have because the Joker's character is so compelling, even while I was horrified. The writing was excellent and the actors carried it all the way.

Heath Ledger deffinately outdid himself playing this role. His Joker is my favorite villian to date and he more than did a respectable job playing the role! The plot twists and the darker outlook on the character is what made this movie worth seeing and I can't wait to see it on DVD with the extra features!
