This was an excellent movie! I was taken away into a world that never really existed & felt for these aliens & their home.
The story was fantastic & the dialogue was well written. The musical score was moving & the whole film just took me away & made me forget about the real world. When I left the theater I kept thinking about the visuals I had just seen, & humming the musical score over & over again.
I will be going back to see this movie again
(The 3-D really wasn't that obvious so I don't think it will matter if I see it in 3-D again. The Real-D demo before the movie started was more obvious. There were places in the movie that I could tell they were going for a 3-D effect, but I was expecting 3-D like I had never seen before)

I have only one question that i just dont understand about this movie. Why did it take him almost 4 months to decide to stay ? i made up my mind after the first night to stay. :P Awsome Flick when i go see a high end Graphic Movie i usually just shut off my Brain and just watch the fireworks, This was a solid story to go along with amazing graphics. Simply put "Astonished" i dont recall the last time i seen a Movie this well put together. --- IMAX 3D next Friday--- =)

This was a very good movie. You've seen the story line before, but the visual effects are fantastic and you get sucked right into the movie. totally doesn't feel like 2 hrs 40 mins. Once you get used to the aliens, they become very real to you.

If you enjoy eye candy over plot, this is the movie for you. Graphics were outstanding, but the story seemed like warmed over "Dances with Wolves" mixed with preachy "save the rain forest" films of the 90's.

We went for New Years Eve and it was the best New Years ever. The movie was excellent, see
it in 3D. James Cameron has definitely made it to the top and beyond with this one. If this doesn't get all the awards, something is wrong

We saw this movie twice and it was even better the second time! The 3-D is amazing! Forget any other 3-D you've ever seen, this will blow you away. Our family was going to wait for this to come out on DVD, but we talked them into seeing it at the theater, and they were glad they did. SEE IT!

The film was breathtaking and a wonderful movie experience. While you can find similar plots and a political message, the movie is a well told story that makes you forget time. I didn't realize how much time had passed until the movie was over and I looked at my watch. It was well worth the money and time. We are looking forward to seeing it again.

The movie a great as far as the visuals and special effects were concerned, Felt like I was falling every now in then. The plot of the movie made me feel like I had seen it before (just like most other movies) and by the end got kind of juvenile.

i finally got to go out and see a movie and this was it! it was totally worth the time and to see it in 3D was even better! i was constantly amazed by the visuals, they took every detail into consideration not just the big stuff you see. Every strand of hair, roots on the trees even the wind blowing through ther hair made this movie even more spectacular to see up close.

I am not a professional critic but in my 57 years I can overwhelmingly state this is the very best movie I have ever seen. The movie had suspense, triumph over evil, a sound story and most incredibly; the entire length of the movie I was so captivated I never thought about any animation aspects but rather fell in love with the character developments and their realistic interrelationships.
I would state that everyone should see this movie!!

The movie was incredible. What stood out the most to me was the spiritualism the movie was set in. It made me laugh, it made me cry, it made me angry... and it touched my heart. Definately one of, if not the best movie(s) I've ever seen.

Visually it was just beautiful. A nice story... no swearing, no nudity. How about that for a change? See on the big screen if you are able. Long ...but you won't really feel it. A must see.

We had 6 in our group and we were just amazed at the beauty and feelings we experienced the entire movie! James Cameron should win all awards for this one hands down. It takes you into the story and it transforms your mind into a world you believe is all around you! LOVED IT!
