I wouldn't say it was spectacular by any stretch, but it was a fairly good movie. Michael Douglas was really good in the film, as was Jennifer Garner. I think Matthew McConaughey has had better roles, but he played the character effectively. The interaction between Matthew's character and Jennifer's character is truly funny and sweet. Matthew comes across as a bit of a bumbling oaf, with many incidents in his present life not turning out quite the way he intends. And yet, his character still manages to get laid. The one thing I would say...PLEASE remember this movie has strong adult references. It should be rated higher than PG13. Don't take your kids to see this.

I had wanted to see this movie as when I had seen it advertised it looked like it was going to a good movie with laughs but there were so few. The one thing when it was advertised as the Ghosts of Girlfriends Past I did not expect it to remind me Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol It was a good movie with a happy ending.

I saw this movie with my friends...we laughed, cried, and enjoyed some light-hearted entertainment. No, it's not a deep or moving movie...but it did have it's touching moments, and some good, old-fashioned corny comedy. If you don't take it too seriously, it's a fun night out with the girls.

The movie was very funny, poignant, and made me really mad at what a jerk some men can be. It also showed that most of us have something that happened to us growing up that has stayed with us our whole lives and has had great influence on us and our decisions, relationships and character. It isn't always something good.

I really enjoyed this romantic flick a lot. Matthew McConaughey stars as a photographer who remembers his past, not only to save his relationship with his true love interest, but to also save his brother's wedding from getting called off.

Can another rip-off of ‘A Christmas Carol” really be worth seeing? If it’s ‘Ghosts of Girlfriends Past’ it can. This is a classy romantic comedy that is at times funny, and at times very touching. The movie starts out slow, but once the ghosts begin to arrive, it comes into its own. Michael Douglass fits the part of an erstwhile lady’s man to a tee, and Matthew McConaughey is good as a smooth, playboy-type jerk that needs to learn to love in spite of the possibility of having his heart broken. I doubt that it will become a classic to watch every year at Christmas, but I found ‘Ghosts of Girlfriends Past’ very enjoyable.

My husband and I went to see this movie, was funny, had us laughing and reminiscing about MM character and of knowing girls just like JG or the brides maids. Thought Lacey C did a pretty good job of playing somewhat of a bridezilla! Good feel good movie!

Well, you know the story - there were some funny new twists... some good laugh out loud. The problem is that it seems to be only about hopping in bed. I didn't see the chemistry between McConaughey and Garner. It was fun... I should have gone to Star Trek for the money.

It was my girlfriends week to pick the movie so I reluctantly went in to see this one. It wasn't unbearable but it wasn't good either. I laughed a few times but only because of how shallow Matthew McConnaughey's character was. My girlfriend also said she expected it to be better. I will say that it was better than Fool's Gold(which was terrible) and I stayed awake for the entire movie, which is more than I could say for other chic flics like Twilight and Fool's Gold. My advice to all is this: wait for the dvd. Ladies: Please don't take your boyfriends to see this. Go see Wolverine instead.
