The casting was very well done. Downey, Paltrow and Bridges work well in their main roles as do the actors in the lesser roles.
Some plot movement was a tad bit predictable, but overall, the movie was quite enjoyable and there were some genuine laugh out loud moments.

This is what a comic book to movie adaptation should be. Direct involvement of original authors, legitimate actors and actresses who work for the role instead of the check, and amazing visuals.
If films like this and The Incredible Hulk (2008) are what Marvel has in store from now on, then I am EAGERLY awaiting any future Avengers movies.

This was a good action movie, but it didn't live up the hype. I had heard that this was the best superhero movie ever. I think Spiderman, Batman The Dark Night, and X-Men were all better.
The special effects were good and the actors played their parts well. It is worth seeing in the theater.

I expected a dull film with a green monster popping all over the place. But my husband wanted to see it. The beginning set up the action sceens to follow. Good vs. Evil, and so on. I think it's a good flick for guys and their gals.

This movie was great, even the second time around. It was exciting and the action continued throughout the film. I enjoyed the chemistry between Mr. Downey Jr. and Ms. Paltrow. There was also some perfectly timed comedy provided for the viewer that involved the testing of the suit.
Overall the film was a complete visual pleasure. I enjoyed all the intricate detail provided for the development of the Iron Man armor.
NOTE: Rating was appropriate. I would not recommend this for young children, the action sequences and warlike violence are too intense as well as the brief sexual encounter at the beginning of the movie. Frankly I thought it was unnecessary, did not add real value to the film. Did not take away too much from my enjoyment of the film.

This movie was AWESOME! At first i was thinking to myself "this will pass some time away" not expecting it to be great, after the first half hour or so i was on the edge of my seat. Soon i was encased by it's awesome casting, and action/adventure! Unlike most movies coming out of hollywood now this movie was near total PERFECTION!

Had not heard or read any reviews of Iron Man prior to seeing it. Hoped only for it to be better than the first Hulk movie. All 3 of us were blown away by the non-stop action and fantastic electronic gadgetry! Everything was very believable and that suit is the coolest thing since Boba Fett's armor in Star Wars.

This movie didnt disappoint from beginning to end. I was surprised the Mr. Downing did such a good job. That was the only reason for pre-reservations about the movie. I'm glad that Terrance Howard finally, finally got a good part when he was not asked to play a thug. He is too good of an actor. Great special effects! Great story! Iron Man definitely ranks among the best superhero movies. The iron suit looks awesome, and Tony Stark is a very likeable and entertaining character. Without giving anything away, don't forget to stay after the credits, there is a bonus scene.
