Went to see IM2 as a double feature with IM1. We loved the first one and were excited to see how the story would unfold for the character (Iron Man), the love interest with Pepper Potts and the new side kick (Don Cheadle). Seeing the first movie immediately before the second one really helped to transition into IM2. The story line picked up where the first one left off. I will agree with a line in the movie noting Tony Stark as being a bit narcissistic. There are a lot more questions from this one than the first. I thought the appearance of Nick Fury was well done by Samuel Jackson (a bit too much into his role but good). The action scenes were great the fight sequences were good little predictable but well shot and the comedic lines were cute if somewhat cheesy. I really like Scarlett Johansson role and the fact that there were two really great females’ roles in the movie strong characters from different views. It is always hard to top the first one-I hope IM3 closes the loops on unanswered questions. Time will tell-really liked the ending glad we stayed to the end.....

Thank you AMC for having an in-theatre opportunity to watch the original IRON MAN before the release of the new Irom Man 2!
Even though watching both films took five hours it was well worth the time to see them together.

Initially, I had no desire to see Iron Man but with the new movie coming out and a double feature available, I thought why not. Wow, was I dumb to wait so long. Downey as Tony Stark was riveting and reminded me why I enjoy his acting. He can command your attention, forcing you to miss smaller details. In addition, the movie's writing, direction, and location shoots were amazing. You could feel the emotions jumping off the screen: the fear, anger, betrayal, romantic interest, animosity. It was worth the money to see and if you can, watch it on the big screen. Well worth the admission price. You could tell the amount of detail that went into creating the world and it was a very, very, very well done movie. Even if you haven't read the comics like me, you still get the feel of the world. That takes a lot of talent.

This was another awesome Marvel Comics movie. packed with action, comedy and a little bit of drama good verses evil and of course happy ending with good winning.. A must see over and over again just like IRON MAN

The AMC Barrett Commons in Marietta, Georgia held a special re-screening of Iron Man on May 6th at 9pm. Moviegoers were treated to a refresher course on Iron Man lore at a reduced ticket price.
When the movie concluded, a security guard escorted those who had tickets for the midnight showing of Iron Man 2 the IMAX Experience into the IMAX theater for advanced priority seating.
Every movie theater should follow this model for sequals.

Hands down Iron Man was and will be one of the best movies of the year alongside The Dark Knight of course. I had really been looking forward to Iron Man and it definitely was everything I was hoping for and more. I honestly don't believe that anyone would have been better for this role than Robert Downey Jr and everyone else was stellar as always. Make sure not to miss this one and check out all the cool toys!!!

Stay for the short scene at the end of the credits...whereas Dark Knight was disturbing and depressive, Iron Man is truly entertaining. There are some violent scenes, so be prepared. Otherwise, enjoy the show.

not because of the movie, but because of admittedly preconceived notions about Robert Downey Jr. I was wrong...his acting was superb, the supporting cast was equally as good, and the special effects were stunning in their own right.
I was on the edge of my seat through most of the movie...it's a good thing I don't (yet) have a heart condition :)
SPOILER ALERT
The villain and final scene was quite predictable (the only flaw in the movie was how the villian managed to operate the armaments in their possession on the first try).
Also, if you didn't stay till the bitter end, you missed a spoiler about the next movie.

Never heard of Iron Man but friends liked the movie and on a slow day, decided to see it. ..Loved it. Lots of action but not over the top...reality and believability were retained and the movie did not turn into a cartoon fantasy. Robert Downey was extraordinary.

There was never a dull moment in this movie. Our group ranged from 15 & 16 year old comic book fans- young men to a 46 year old female movie lover. I think what the 16 year old said, summed it up- there was only 10 seconds that I didn't enjoy that was the bedroom scene. And the clip beyond the credits left us all screaming! Have been recommending it to everyone I know who hasn't seen it. Loved it.
