It has been a long time since I have heard the whole movie theater erupt with laughter, or oohs and aahh's. Great movie, great special effects! Robert Downey Jr did a great job playing that role.

I went to a Thursday night screener of this film with my wife and was truly blown away by the movie's approach to the comic Tony Stark and his evolution to Iron Man. I really have no issues at all with its portrayal and felt that beyond a shadow of a doubt that Robert Downey Jr. was THE perfect choice for the role. Additionally, I thought that Gwyneth Paltrow, Terrence Howard and Jeff Bridges were fantastic in their parts though admittedly I had my doubts originally about the approach to the character of James Rhodes.
The movie really takes more time dealing with Tony's kidnapping and armor R&D than a great deal of fight scenes, though each time he dons the armor, the sequences are breathtaking. The final battle as well alone is worth the price of admission.
Lastly, do NOT leave the theater until the final credits roll or you will regret it. There is not only an extra sequence there, but one that will make any fanboy squeal with delight.

Just got home from seeing this and I just had to submit my review right away.....
I was not disappointed in this movie a bit! It delivers on story, excitement, bullets and explosions. It even has some love in it for those who need that in an action flick for some reason.
I lied about not being disappointed with anything.... with all the bullets, shrapnel, explosions, death, etc... there was no blood... there's blood in the comic books, isn't there?
Anyway.... very cool and worth seeing!

I just saw Iron Man thru an Intel promotion! This movie just blew me away, very well done!!! It's 2 hours long, but i didn't even noticed, I was so hooked on it!!! I feel very lucky to be able to see it b4 it goes nationwide, I watched for free, but I'm getting the feeling that I'm gonna have to go watch it again and I'll be more than glad to pay for it! If you like action, this is it!!! Go watch it, you will love it!!!

This was one of the best comic book movies made since Spiderman 1. It has a great plot and an all star cast. Robert Downey Jr. can be hit or miss, but here he is right on target. Great start to the summer box office.

I wasn't sure with the casting of the characters or the plot, but I was pleasantly suprised by the newest Marvel Comic Book Character movie Iron Man.
It all starts when a Pompus & Aarogant Millionaire Weapons manufacturer Tony Stark, is kidnapped and forced to work for the enemy making a weapon of mass distruction. To go into more detail would be giving too much away.
As far as the content it was indeed Action Packed with Little Blood, good on language and a great story line. I would recommend taking kids 7 and up to see it.
I can see a sequil to fallow within the next few years.
You just have to see this Kickin movie.
