Great adaptation of CS Lewis' great books. My 11 year old and I loved it. Lots of positive elements. Battle scenes might be too much for smaller kids. Don't miss it, though.

The story line was great and the characters interesting. It is a film for the entire family and kept me on the edge of my seat. This one was a welcome surprise. Incredients of a classic, it can be enjoyed over and over again. Beautiful scenery and just an intelligent film. Thank you Andrew Adamson, I'll look for your future work. This movie was actually very good. It started out with a lot of action which I think is strong considering that the first one is slow to begin with. As the movie progresses it only becomes even better even though there was one certain part that they could have left out (I'd mention it but don't want to ruin it for those who are waiting for this on DVD). Overall, it wouldn't be a waste to spend eight dollars to go and see this movie.

Great, great, great. Wonderful film. A true 'all rounder'. Our 13 year old son and 10 year old daughter thought the movie was terrific. We would defiantly watch it again. The movie is incredible. The graphics, the action, the cute quarky parts, especially the story line. I would suggest this movie to almost anyone except little kids. I felt like, maybe it was a little scarey for them. I had walked out of the theatre near a little girl talking with her parents and brother that was not much older about how many parts of the movie scared her. The faces of the Narnian creatures, I noticed, may have been a little scarey. It's not sooo bad. I really enjoyed the movie. I suggest you watch it.

This movie was not nearly as good as the first one. But considering that the book was much weaker than The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, this is not surprising. The actors did an excellent job, more than making up for the weak storyline. Let's hope the next one is better.

My daughter and I have read all the books and really enjoyed the first movie. Many series 2nd or 3rd movies never live up to the first, but this one did. It was very good!! We thought this movie was really great. It captured your attention from the first moment and really made you feel the inner turmoil of Peter especially having been returned to the "normal" world of England. You were thrilled for them when they got called back and got to return to Narnia. Even if it was to a ruins and not the beautiful land they remembered. The plot, the character development, the fight scenes, and the ending were all very tastefully done. I believe that it was actually a better movie than the first installment. My ten and eleven year old boys were so into all the fighting they were actually leaning forward in their seats!!! For me that was worth spending my money on......

From the First Minute to the Last this movie is Action Packed! Good versus Evil throughout and even though some Poetic License was taken, the over all story written by C.S. Lewis is very much the same!
The cinematography, costumes, sets, etc, were every bit as good as the first movie. You find yourself believing every second of the story, if you let yourself and you really believe the kids have been gone for 1 year of their life while the Narnians have been living thousands of theirs. You feel as if you have picked up almost where they left off and you want to cheer at the end.
This is an excellent family movie and if you have read the books, you know the stories are an alternate story of what "might have happened" per C.S. Lewis. The sword fights are intense but not bloody and gory so with some explanations of good vs. evil to small children the movie is completely family friendly and appropriate. Enjoy!!

The movie is a good experience and has some very nice special effects. There are certain pieces which have come very nice. Overall the movie fails to captivate. I think compared to first part the second attempt lacks drama and strong story line. The main character of Prince Caspian appears subdued and does not come strong (either the writer did not create it in the first place or the screen play was at fault). It is good to watch once and enjoy good photography and some exotic locations.

Awesome and exciting! We have a four (4) year old and he was completely absorbed. There is one part in the movie where a couple of scarey creatures appear (portraying the darkside) and they're a little frightning and their voices are eerie. If you have little ones that spook easily that is the only part that is 'dark'. Great movie, lots of energy and action.

Prince Caspian was well worth the price of the ticket and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoyed The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe . While Aslan plays a smaller role, the action is far greater in this movie and it is exciting from beginning to end. My only concern is that it is a far darker movie and has more violence, thus even though it is rated PG I would not suggest it for younger children. Beyond that, it is a thrilling movie filled with stunning images and battles for what is right, for love, and for Narnia.

Prince Caspian was very good. We enjoyed the high's and low's of the plot. However, we would caution bringing small children as it was a little more violent than the first Narnia. It's a good idea to see the first Narnia before watching the second although not a must as it is a different plot altogether.

LOVED IT! My 12 year old and I thought the movie was excellent. My 8 year old was bored, thought it was just like the first one.. It may just be a bit long for all little boys to sit through, but the rest of us could have watched it again! great story.

We saw the first Narnia movie 5 or 6 times in the cinema and read the book twice. So it was a no-brainer for us to go see Prince Caspian. Best for the battle scenes and sword fight and the (somewhat limited) interplay between the main characters. The two 3rd graders with me found the first part of the movie rather boring. With the plug at the end for the next installment with Ed and Loo we can expect more but the director has an uphill battle ahead to keep his audience.
