It's more violent than the 1st one, but nevertheless still a good film. The 1st one had perhaps a more captivating story to tell than this one for the big screen. This one has deeply engaging theological themes that are subtle and less transferable to the big screen. Yet and still, good movie.

Excellent sequel to the first Narnia! Another great story with another great lesson! I would have loved to have seen some of the characters from the first again...such as Mr. Tumlus or the Beavers! Some great new characters, a good combination of comedy and courage! A wonderful night out with the fam!!

This was an amazing movie! The actors, the special effects, the message...all great! It was a little violent, but not real bad. I would say any child over 6 would be fine! The producers did a really good job staying true to the story, but yet they also added some very clever "extra" scenes. This movie is definately a great one to see with the family, or just with a bunch of friends! I really think this was the besat movie out this year! Go and see it!

This was horrible!! I went with a group of frinds to see the mmovie, and two of us had read the books, and both came out saying how horible it was and that we would never watch another Narnia movie in theaters again! The books are amazing, but Hollywood tried to make it more exciting, which it didn't need, and ruined the movie. It put Peter especially in a horrible light, and he was my favorite character in the book! Please read the book after you watch it, its so much better! I hae never hated a movie before, and i hated this one!

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian has some of the most amazing effects of any movie. Very realistic. Very believable for all but the most critical. I would see it again with the sound turned off just to be able to take all the visuals in.

I didn't think this movie was as good as the first. The story line was slow in coming, the attitude of the characters were too negative, and it seemed as though the writers were quick to end it. I didn't think it was worth the money it took to see in the theater; I would suggest waiting till it comes out on DVD. Good to watch, just not good enough for the price of a theater.

This coming from someone who has read all seven books of The Chronicles of Narnia; this adaptation of Prince Caspian was very very well done!! It was a considerably dark and more adult version of C. S. Lewis' Narnia visions which, to be honest, is a refreshing change even though the books have been an enjoyable read as an adult.

Our whole family liked it a lot. The movie is never like the book but they enjoyed throughly because the have have both read the books and listened to the audio recordings from Focus on the Family. It was our oldest's birthday and was well worth paying for everybody to go. The girls really liked liked how the Aslan was always just out of sight. The ending where the bridge was destroyed was spectacular. Our youngest loved the mice the best.

Welcome back to Narnia! This film was just as enjoyable as the first but sadly its full potential was not realised. I feel that this is due in part to the adding and subtracting of material from the literary masterpiece. Of course to those who have never read the books it will be a delight and will no doubt appear to be vastly superior to the first film. However to the literary critic the film will stall in places and become frustating. But that did not stop me from enjoying the it or planning to see it at least once more in the theater.

I took my daughter and some friends to this movie for her birthday, and it worked out great. The movie didn't feel as long as it was, which meant that it kept the attention of my nine and ten year old companions AND mine, too. It had more cutesy one liners than the first Narnia movie, attracting the movie goers under four feet tall, but had a lot of action, good acting and, course, interesting plot developments to keep taller movie patrons happy. Great choice for kids, families, and fantasy fans.

If you haven't read the book, then the film is good for its type; a fantasy action for all ages. For readers and fans of the Chronicles of Narnia book series, this film is a sad disappointment.
Unnecessary, depressing sequences were created, the characters were darker and more negative and there was too much artistic/poetic licence was taken for my liking; Caspian’s age, the Caspian/Susan interest, Susan in battle, and the Peter/Caspian fights.
The special effects were great and the action tense but in the end the adaptation was too loose and unfaithful to CS Lewis’ book.

I enjoyed the Prince Caspian movie very much. They had a lot of quotes from the book left in tact, so that was nice. However, a few things bugged me. I think they messed up Peter and Trumpkin's characters somewhat. I would have liked to have heard more of Trumpkin's fun sayings like "Soup and Celery!". I thought Peter was a bit too proud, which showed even in the very beginning when he got in a fight with another boy. But all in all, I thought they did a marvelous job with this movie, and i can't wait to see the next one!

This was, quite honestly, one of the best movies I have ever seen. I was very happy with everything, but especially the CG characters. Reepicheep rocks!

This movie does what a lot of sequals seem to do. They added too many new characters - a bland prince without much of a personality, unlikeable dwarfs, goofy fighting mice, an evil king, a bunch of his evil? or decent? acquaintances - it was hard to tell who was who in the King's circle and some pretty cool looking Centaurs. Oh yeah and the Snow Queen makes a brief appearance too! It was not only hard to share the attention between too many main characters, but it was hard to get to know all of them and care about them, especially the prince. It was weird because the prince seemed overshadowed by Peter (the main kid of the four kings and queens). I was wondering what his purpose was since he wasn't really the hero. I don't want to spoil the ending, but I will just say that the Lion doesn't really have a main part of the movie either. But the way things happen at the end is a little cheesey and predictable. Overall, you will be entertained while you watch it but disappointed afterwards. Wah.

A very good movie. Not as much character development as the first movie...Aslan tells Lucy that Peter and Susan have learned what they need to from Narnia and won't be back, but it wasn't obvious to me what revelation or lesson they learned.

I found it to be less than engaging. It had very little character development, overly long and sometimes boring battle sequences and I failed to become engaged with the story and therefore care about the characters and outcomes. For the simplicity of the plot, 2hrs 20min was too long, and they could have cut out the ice queen sequence without losing any of the momentum.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
