At first seeing it the movie has a very dark overtone to it filled with dispair and a fantasy world run down I compared it to how Star Wars had a very happy feel to the first one, and the second one had no hope. You feel with Prince Caspian where he can't help who his people are desparate to take the throne, but finds that he is the only one who can be the one who can best rule this fantasy world and put it back to a time where happiness and joy rises again as long as you believe with a little faith anything can happen.

while it is always fun to go to the movies i personally feel like i should have waited for this is come out on dvd. good story, good casting, good acting, just not oh my goodness best thing i every saw! if i didn't work for Disney i wouldn't have gone to it in theaters. good movie though, nice one to see. just don't expect to be blown out of your mind. enjoyable to watch though.

This movie is just what Narnia fans have been waiting for-but it's never the same way twice. There is a little more focus on the actual battles than the battle of good and evil than I would have liked. Still, I thoroughly enjoyed it. This movie will have broad appeal. Lacking a lot of deeper meaning. Wanted more magic and less battlefield fighting. To me, it was mediocre and yet a good movie. 30 sec evil queen, 1 min with asland and 2 hours with soldiers and greedy humans. Just didn't do it for me. The fights where ridiculous. You see soldiers hit 20" past the heads of the attacked. The mice where cute. storyline sucked. Can't wait till the next Harry Potter movie.

My children all went - 15, 13 and 9. Everyone liked it, some more than others. I thought the story was a little hard to follow, and didn't hold together in parts. But as a sequel it held up well. The acting, costumes, scenery were all great. The fight scenes were a little TOO CGI. At times it looked like you were watching a video game. I also thought it was a little violent for a PG, but given that the Lord of the Rings movies were all PG-13, I guess the rating holds up. There was little blood shown and young kids might not even notice the beheading.

Though this was a good movie, it was not as good as the first one. It was somewhat diffcult to follow and had some really slow times. Much less fantasy and lots more adult stuff (battles, adult dialogue). I immagine others were also left wondering just what the ending meant as my family and I were. Kind of long too and I agree, not for small kids. Some movies I would gladly see twice, but not this one.

Took my family to see this movie yesterday morning. They all loved it. Two of the girls are new to our family, and are not familiar with The Chronicles of Narnia... but are anxious now to read the rest of the books. The daughters that are familiar with the books (and the previous movie) were a little disappointed that so much was left out of the beginning of the movie... and didn't feel it was necessary to the story to add a love interest... but looking at it as a movie on it's own, and realizing that movies are seldom true to books they all said they loved it. My husband and I enjoyed the movie as well. Thank you Disney for turning out another great family film!

We really enjoyed this movie. My 6 year old loved it and can't wait to get it on dvd. I will say that it was a little slow in the build up to the climax but worth it nonetheless. It is fairly violent, but I think less so than the first. If your kids enjoyed the first one then they are sure to enjoy this one just as much or more so.

Although I enjoyed this movie as did my teen-aged daughter, my pre-teen was a little grossed out by some of the battle scenes which dominated the movie. A couple times we had to take a break and leave the theatre and finally my husband missed the last 20 minutes of the film. Noticeably we were not the only one's doing this! Just be aware that the movie can be a little intense for the younger set. In my opinion, a PG-13 rating would have been a more responsible choice.

This was a really good movie, but not having read the books I was expecting something more similar to the first Narnia (magical, mystical, fantacy, etc.), but it ended up being more of a war movie (though not grousome or anything)

As much as I love the entire "Chronicles of Narnia" series, I have to say this movie missed the mark. In "The Lion, Witch and Wardrobe" it was clearly Edmond's story. Here, it should be Prince Caspian's, but they never give him a character arc. In the book, a running theme woven throughout is people consider Aslan a myth. That ball is dropped, or ignored, here. While I certainly enjoyed this outing, it mainly left me hoping that they don't goof up "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader."

I saw the movie yesterday, and I'd go see it again. It was really good. I read the books when I was younger so I am a fan. I do have to say, I don't think it's appropriate for very young ones, lets say about younger than 10 (parents have to decide that themselves). People/creatures do die and there a, so it might be a bit too grphic for young ones to see, definitely more graphic than the first movie. But I loved it, it was absolutely great, I recommend it!!

This movie was awesome!!!! Although it was a lengthy film, the excitement and storyline kept you so inthralled that it seemed to fly by. Action Packed, must see twice! This move makes you wish there was a Narnia. My daughter’s teacher took the class to see it. If you could imagine 20 kids all entranced. Enjoyable, Captivating, Wonderful. Best movie I have seen it a long time. The special effects where breathtaking and the settings made you want to travel there. People applauded, people cried, we all had a great time. YOU MUST SEE THIS MOVE IF YOU DON’T SEE ANTHING ELSE.

We thought hte movie was very good although the villan in the movie wasn't as "wicked" as the villian from the 1st movie. He just had a different wickedness which is okay. We especially like the new characters they introduced during this movie like the little person, the sword slinging mice and the badger. All in all worth the price of admission to see the movie and my daughter asked "when will the third movie be out?"!

Went to see it with a friend that had not read the books. Were both very pleased. Strayed a lilttle from the storyline in points, but well done all in all.

The movie was FANTASTIC!!! From the second it started it held our attention and never stoped until the end of the show. I found out at the movie that they were already making the next one. Like Harry Potter, can't wait to see no. 3.
