This movie has marvelous special effects that are very realistic. The story was easy to follow although having read the book proved very helpful to our third grade son, who got more out of the movie than we did. He was explaining some things to us after the movie that we "missed" by not having read the book. My only suggestion would be to shorten the length a bit, but there was a lot of storyline and information to cover, so it may not be possible.

This movie was full of action and definetly had a good plot line. The acting and effects were amazing. I could almost believe that some of these fantasies could become reality. The only problem was, it could be very confusing for people who didnt see the first movie, since it doesn't really explain much of what happened then. Otherwise, I would for sure recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys action packed, awesome films. A must-see for those who enjoyed the first movie.

We loved Prince Caspian. The movie was completely engaging from start to finish. My 7 & 10 year olds were rivited the entire time.
Great family movie ! Loved seeing some familiar characters back and the intro. of new characters.

The special effects were incredible. Although it was over two hours, it was such a gripping tale you don't notice it. I don't usually go to this type of movie but my teen wanted to go. I wasn't prepared to be so highly entertained and impressed. I give it 6 stars out of 5.

Movie was very exciting, beautifully filmed. It had an interesting mix of darkness and humor, which helped it not be too disturbing for younger children, although my 10 year old granddaughter would have been frightened by it. There was very little blood showed, but most would know what was happening. All in all and very good movie, still whimsical even with the darkness. And good prevailed - Yeah!

Though I am a fan of the first movie, I am ashamed to admit I have not read the books. That said, I do not feel book knowledge to be required to enjoy this movie. The film makers did a wonderful job tying this story to the first. The film is full of action, adventure, and even a little romance. A great cast of characters - human and animal - battle to save Narnia from the evil Telmarines. But it's not all battle scenes. There's gorgeous scenery and lots of fun special effects, including the feeling of soaring on the wings of giant birds atop castle towers -- very cool! We took our Girl Scout troop, who had all read the book, and they loved it and cheered at the end. But even the younger ones with us, who had not read the book, enjoyed it just as much. Highly recommended for the whole family. There were a few scary moments for the 7 and under crowd -- including a brief appearance from the White Witch -- but nothing that would deter them from wanting to see this movie again and again. We had many requests to buy this movie as soon as it's available. A wonderful film.

Prince Caspian is a great movie telling of the CS Lewis book, while as always the book is more detailed and much better than the movie if you enjoyed the book you will like the movie. The only con in the movie is the battle sequences which are shot sort of kiddie in nature meaning that you don't get the fell of a full on battle like you do in the lord of the rings. Overall good movie you will want to see this one in the theatres and take the kids - only small kids might get a little scared at some parts.

Sensationalist Movie deserves five stars for wowing you with the sensationalism. The story was pretty good but I couldn't help but to be a little disappointed to see lines added in that is the usual case with most movies: "Here's let's throw in a sensless love motif out of thin air and make the crowd go wild" - sickening. Honestly the movie was Very good, aside from the typical add-in scenarios that are obviously not part of the original story, the movie is very good. I am a very big fan of the C.S. Lewis books and have all of them many times, so i was excited to see that they were going to make a movie for another one of the books. But i was a little disappointed that it didnt follow the book as well as i had hoped. I guess that happens a lot with movies made after books. so i guess if you read the book, just dont expect to be the same. nonetheless, the movie was in fact spectacular. The special effects were amazing, and they way they told the story was interesting. i definately recommend it- Just dont read the book first.

I loved the first, and knew that the 2nd would be more "grown up" and a bit more violent, so I hesitated when my 4 year old begged me to take her to this one. The length scared me, as well as the previews violence portayed, but I caved and took her, prepared for the worst. It was too grown up for a pre-schooler, not as "cute" as the first, but she handled it like a trooper. She covered her eyes alot but sat through it, and ultimately ended up laughing and at the edge of her seat, rooting on Peter in his battle. I wouldn't do it again with a 4 year old, but it was a great film, and it did not feel like 2.5 hours!

Very excellent movie! We were pleasantly surprised that it was, for the most part, very true to the book. Beautiful imagery! The only drawback in my opinion, was that there was much more violence than was expected. My 10 yr old daughter enjoyed it much less because of all the killings during the battle scenes. Thankfully though, as far as the violence went, there was no blood shown. Overall our family thoroughly enjoyed this movie...we can't wait for the Magicians Nephew!

Don't bother with this one if you enjoy character-driven stories with personal relationships and some sort of epiphany. The best acting comes from the lion, which, in all fairness isn't saying much, as there is no dialogue to act. The cast is attractive and seem eager to please, but that doesn't save this one. And since most of this film is tiresome battle scene, what's to act? Nice scenery; great symphonic score; dippy song tacked on at the end.

I was disappointed in Prince Caspian. Granted this particular book was weak in the first place to be able to make a movie out of, but they added too much stuff that wasn't in the book which took away from the movie, especially given the length of the movie. One that really rankled was a hint of romance between Caspian and Susan which was totally unnecessary. There were some cool special effects and was great to see the same main cast of characters again.

This was a excellent movie! Only negative was that the movie was a little slow in the begining. Seemed to take a little to long to let you know who Prince Caspian was, and about how and what he knew about old Narnia. However once that developed, the movie came all together. I would definatly recommend this movie.

They should have stopped with the first. If you really enjoyed the first movie, you'll be disappointed by the second.

Our entire family went and enjoyed it greatly! There were a couple of scenes that scared my three year old, but my six year old loved the movie and asked me to buy it as soon as it was over. The movie kept us entertained, and really tugged at my heart. A great story and lesson for all mankind!

The cinematography was excellent and the scenery absolutely breathe taking. The characters were very believable. It was truly captivating! I went with my 8 year old daughter and her friend. They enjoyed the show. The only negative I will report is there was a bit more violence than I believe was necessary. Negative regarding AMC in Burlington MA where we went to see the show: showtime was at 3:20PM at 3:40 the movie had not yet begun and I had to go out of the theatre and request that they please start the movie (we had restaurant reservations and were a bit late due to the delay)
