For a second movie, it was a shocker. Just when you thought it was going to get a wee pit boring, waam action for ya. Also, great for kids of ALL ages, even with all the fighting. This is one movie I will totally be getting on DVD the day it comes out! The way this series has started out, its going to go a long long way and beat the Lord of Rings I tell ya! Who knows maybe even Star Wars.. nah no movie can beat a series that is never ending.

I was very curious to see if the second one could live up to the standard the first movie had placed. It passed it with flying colors! The movie was so enjoyable, the perfect amount of action, drama & humor mixed into 2 hours and 20 minutes of a perfect movie.
And my favorite part about it were the biblical teachings the movie had. Being as I took the church Youth Group to see it and everyone of them enjoyed it.
And even if you are not a spiritual person, this movie is enjoyable for anyone looking for a nice clean movie with sound values and morals and a great in depth story.

My 10 year old son and I both thought this was a great movie. While there was a lot of action, there seemed to be more comedy than the 1st movie. We were a bit confused at the beginning of the movie trying to figure out who the "bad guys" were and what their history was. I woud like to have had a little more background on them, but it did not take away from the quality of the movie. I like that there is not a lot of blood and gore. It is a true family movie. We saw it on opening night and there were kids of all ages there that seemed to enjoy it.

Great movie in its own right. It did not follow the book very closely and some characters were not developed that were more key in the book. However, it is a great movie and I would encourage anyone to see it - solid portrayal of what is good and evil. I would also encourage reading the entire Narnia series.

This was a great movie. A bit more dramatic and darker than the first movie but still amazing. The CGI and special effects are even better. The movie brings up more serious feelings of abandonment, loss, betrayal and pride. There is an increase in fantasy violence but is justified by the storyline. This movie can stand on its own and does not require having previously read the book or viewed the other films. A warning to parents who are uptight, the movie battles are longer and more complex. If you have to whine about violence in movies corrupting your children then don't take them to the movie.

Great movie! A lot more action and fighting than the first one, and with less of a focus on the fantasy and the creatures -- but a great movie overall. It was something to see the kids growing up... a bit bittersweet at the end. All of my sons loved this (10, 13, 16, 20). Can't wait until "Voyage of the Dawn Treader" comes out in 2010!

This movie is highly recommended for the family and to anyone who just want to see a good movie. Like the synopsis says a year has past for the Sons of Adam and the Daughters of Eve but 1,300 years have past for Narnia familiar faces are gone except for one...Aslan.
You will see the children, especially Peter struggle on being a leader and not being comfortable with Prince Caspian taking over his title of being the new King of Narnia.
The story pretty much stays true to the book and the Christian values it is influenced by. The character I think you'll appreciate the most is Reepiceep a mouse who is expert swordsman with rapier along with his *ahem* fellow Mouse-keteers!
All in all this movie must be seen by you, it's the type you want to skip and just wait for it to come out on DVD. It must be looked at now!!!

Great movie. The book was wonderful and interesting and the movie was able to keep that too. Although their wasn't a love interest in the book this still was a wonderful movie. I recommend it to everyone, yet little kids may be a little scared because there is alot of war in this installment.

The movie was an attention getter from begining to end. This book in the Narnia Series brought even more curiosity about which book will they put to screen next. My 3rd grader can't stop talking about it. She is already asking about when will she get the dvd so she can watch it again. This is a movie the whole family will enjoy. No matter their age.

Second Narnia movie related to the third book. Like any other adaptation, the director and producers come with their own vision of the film, which in the case of Prince Caspian, is as good as it can get. The Four children who ruled the land come back to Narnia after Prince Caspian calls upon the kings of old, on a desperate attempt to regain his kingdom. New allies and villans appear as in the book with their own fears and hopes. It is a well adapted movie with gorgeous scenery, fantastic special effects and breathtaking music. A great movie for the whole family. One, I am sure I will love to watch again and buy as soon as the DVD is available. A must for the Fantasy lover!

I took my 7-year-old daughter to this movie, and the theatre was packed - on a Saturday morning! I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, as did my daughter. It was very different from the first, but just as enjoyable as the first. I did not take my 3-year-old, even though she's a big Narnia fan too, mainly because of the length of the movie. Can't wait to see it again - and for the next installment!

This was a very good movie. Both of my kids liked it. My daughter was scared a couple of times and I was worried once or twice about what would happen next (if it would be ok for them) but it was fine. There is a bit of voilence. I would definately recommend seeing it. As a parent, you might want to watch it first just because of the violence.

I give this movie an average rating. yes it did keep my attention but it just wasnt the same as the first one. i mean they didnt even show Aslan till like the last 10 min. the one good thing is the special effects. i give it an A+ for that. but overall id say its a movie that worth your money for a 1 time see.

I saw this movie the day it came out, and I must say I was very apprehensive. The previews that I saw gave me a certain idea of what to expect, and I was very apprehensive. I was very pleasantly surprised that this move fufilled all my expectations and more. The dialogue was not only witty, but showed how much the characters have grown. The plotline of the book was very closely followed, which I was very happy to see because I love the books. The cinematography was very good, and there were some cool special effects that were just the right level of cool. It did not overwhelm the movie like some effects do.
Overall, it was fantastic. One of the best movies I've seen this year.

This movie was very pleasant. It carries a lot of good values for teenagers. I would not necessarily recommand for young children because of the war theme, battles, etc... no scenes with blood though.All in all a great movie.

AWESOME!!! This movie was an exhilarating adventure. This is the very first time I’ve enjoyed the sequel as much as the original movie. The cast was excellent. I can’t wait for the DVD.
