If your family enjoys family oriented action movies, go see this one. It acurately follows the first movie and ties in seamlessly. If you missed the first one, you will still be able to fully understand this one (although it might take a bit for all the tie in to kick in). Well scripted and shot. The CGA and SFX are wonderful. Fun, fast-paced, entertaining, and CLEAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I see more violence in the cartoons that I do let my kids watch.

The follow up to 2005's The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe has made it to the big screen this week. This installment is darker and grimmer as the Pevensie children are recalled to Narnia after a 1300 year sabbatical. The film is larger in scale and channels elements of The Lords of the Rings confirming Tolkien and Lewis as contemporaries. The children's acting has improved this time around but is still a bit stoic. A good family fantasy film to see but be aware of the violence if you are bring small children to the theater.

I though this was a great movie. If you thought the battle scenes in the first Narnia movie were short like I did, then you won't be disappointed with this one. The battle sequences were awesome and it had a great storyyline. Lots of humor too. I highly recommend this movie to any Narnia fan.

I enjoyed this movie, maybe even more than the first one - I would expect the kids and teenagers will file in to watch Caspian (a cutie) battle all that comes in his way in this movie.

I never realized until a few weeks after I saw it how boring this movie really is. Basically, if you've seen the first movie you've seen this one. A bunch of kids transport to a weird fantasy world where they kill people. Yay! The end. Let's go see it! It's nothing special but if you liked the first one you'll definitely LOVE this one. As difficult as it must be to compress a richly written novel into a two-plus hour movie, Mr. Adamson has done a superb job. I still recommend reading the books prior to seeing the film, however. The acting is excellent, the effects believable for the most part, and the music is very effective. I will add this to my collection when available on DVD.

Having been enchanted with the Narnia series since 6th grade, viewing this lastest movie placed my thoughts to the same place they were some 30 years ago. The movies captured the book's magic and with modern effects, it even managed to create the pictures that were once only present in my mind. Ididn't want the film to end and I was torn about momentarily leaving to grab some popcorn! If you are a C.S. Lewis fan or just enjoy a tale that will remove your from where you are now, this is a must-see. I await the Voyage of the Dawn Treader and more adventures with Reepincheep!

This was an excellant movie. I took my grandsons to. I have already recommended to to many people and we just went yesterday. I will definately purchase the dvd when it comes out. Me and my 17 year old son saw this movie, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. If your expecting Blood and Guts you won't like this one. I think you need to understand C.S. Lewis the theologian to fully appreciate the story that is typical to the biblical accounts of Christ after his ascension and end times prophesy. Disney in its efforts to appease general audiences departed from that a little, but left enouph to understand the thrust of the story. Overall, a great family movie! I would recommend it to children of all ages.

Prince Caspian was a wonderful continuation of the Narnian epic from literary genius, C.S. Lewis. The characters all had great depth and the cinematography was lush. The scenery was a delight to the eye. While Lewis wrote these books for children, adults will enjoy them also and this is true of the movies as well. Would I see it again and again? You bet and I will buy the DVD as soon as it is available. Would I recommend it to adults and children both? You bet.

this movie is just about watchable... it isnt as good as the 1st and is basically just lots of battle scenes... there is not much of a story line and it is a very long movie... watch it if u r a real movie buff with nothing left at the cinema to watch other wise i dont recommend it

CS Lewis fans will love seeing favorite charachters come to life but may be disapointed at the changes to the storyline. If you've never read the books, you won't feel lost. The story can stand on its own, but Lewis fans will get much more out of it. Costumes and effects are brilliant, lots and lots of great action. My boys (15,14,13 and 9) loved the battle scenes.
