Being a fan of the Narnia series I was worried that the movies would not hold up to my expectations. Boy was I wrong. Prince Caspian is a great movie, lots of action, heroes to root for and villians to despise. The message of CS Lewis is not drowned out, we need to trust in Him to see victory.

Although I did not see the first Narnia movie, the second one was VERY entertaining. I didn't even feel as if I was in the movie theater for 2 and a half hours. It kept my attention all the way through and that is extremely difficult to do as I get bored easily. This movie is a must see.

Loved this movie. I haven't read the book in years but decided against doing so just to enjoy the film on its own merit. It was particularly enjoyable to see the Penvesie children growing up (the actors, of course) and the develoment of their characaters since TLWW. I'll definitely buy the DVD - it's worth many future viewings in my opinion. For Narnia!!

My kids loved the books and this movie. "There was lots of action and battle." The only downside was the, "wierd kiss thing at the end." My eleven year old said, "what was the point!"

The movie was awesome. They took a few more liberties with the actual book than the first movie & I wish they would be more careful about that in the future. However, it is consistent with C.S, Lewis' thought so I'm OK with that part of things. I was on the edge of my seat practically the entire time.

The movie exceded my expectations. When I left the theater, I couldn't wait to buy it.
One advice for parents - do not take young kids. There were some in the theater and it did not hold their attention and it probably scared them. There is much more fighting in this movie than in the first Narnia movie.

This was a great movie and we saw it with our 7rs old twins, and 4 11yr olds. A few spots were too grafic and scarey for the 7yr olds, but overall it was a great movie and we loved it as a family.

The kids have grown a little, and are better for it. This movie has a better pace to it. It was truer to the book than I thought it would be and the differences didn't hurt the tone of the movie. I am anticipating Lucy and Edmund returning for another show.

I read all of the Naria series to my children. They liked the movie very much. I was expecting a little more of the content from the book. I am going to see it again, with a different expectation. This is a great movie...however, the books are far better. C.S. Lewis develops characters, paints landscapes, and creates tension so well in his books. The only flaw I have with this movie is they show so many battles not in the book, and the characters stay pretty undeveloped. Read the book and you will know what I mean, Still a great movie, though.

Anyway, this movie was very enjoyable for me and my wife.
There's lots of fighting and the plot/story might be too much for the very young, so my 4 year old will just have to wait a few years before I let her see this. However, I'd say that this movie would be understood (in different ways) and enjoyed by most everyone older then 6.

Prince Caspian is an eye-catching, well-told story of intrigue and action. It lacks the power of the morality tale of the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe; however, few movies released today do have that message at its core.
My family thoroughly enjoyed Prince Caspian, except for the ending, which tended to be confusing due to the inexplicable motivation of the Pevensie children to make the choices that they do.

My wife, 11 year old daughter, and myself though it was good, but not as good as the first movie. We didn't get to know Prince Caspian at all or his background that much. They teased us with the Ice Witch who was in the movie all of 5 minutes then we have to deal with a human tyrant that has nothing on the Ice Witch as far as being evil. It was just OK.

This is a good family movie to go too. Except for some scenes where a child may be frightened (as my kid did), I still say it is a good movie as it teaches the value of standing your ground in what you believe with a mixture of magic.

"Prince Caspian" is definitely well worth the wait. As a devoted fan of Narnia (and ANYthing written by Lewis), I was not disappointed. The film is different than "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe," but each film shines in its own right. What stands out in this adaptation is the depth of character--made compelling by the main characters' conflicting motives--and a very human search for faith. I recommend that you see the film and judge for yourself. This devotee will be returning for a second viewing ASAP!

This epic filled movie was a great movie. I believe that every great movie has a great soundtrack to it as this one did again. I was a bit disappointed with the first movie because I believed they could have been a little more detailed in the action scenes but had a great story. This movie had great-detailed action battles while at the same time telling a great story.

I really enjoyed this movie. One of the best in this genre and I enjoyed it as much as the first one. The special effects were also excellent. I strongly recommend it to those who enjoy fantasy.
