This movie is as good as the original - first time I could ever say that. My husband and I took our five year old daugher and we all equally enjoyed it. It was written well for adults and children, and I cried in the end. My older children were fans of the original and now we will have an era of Toy Story lovers all over again. We will definitely purchase this one for our collection when it is avaialble. Great movie!

I thought the movie was very good. My friend and I took our kids ages 5-10. I think my 8 y.o. was scared during the trash scene as she wanted to move to the top row of the otherwise empty theatre (we went to an early show). I think the movie could be too scary for younger children (there is also a creepy baby doll in it) or for more sensitive children. It is also a bit of a tear-jerker in the end, but it really is a happy ending. Toy Story pulled it off again with its wit and humor.

Warning - if you see Toy Story 3 with your worldly-wise 5-year old, he will laugh at you, because you will be crying in the end ... especially if you have an older kid ready to go off to college. Like all the Toy Story movies, there are great graphics, some sort-of scary creatures, and a good story line. Definitely recommended for all ages.

This was a great movie!! My kids and I have watched all of the TS movies together and it was a great way to end it! It made my daughter and myself a little emotional when Andy was saying goodbye. The Baby doll was a little scary, however looked just like some of my old babydolls after they were played with for a while. Over all I give it a double thumbs up!!!

This movie was wonderful to bring my kids to ranging in age from 5-12. There were many similarities between this one and TS2 however. I would have liked more diversity.
It was terribly emotional as we said goodbye to Andy as it brought back fond memories of my 2-year old son being infatuated with TS as a small child and needing to bring his Buzz everywhere. Reliving those memories through TS3 was both painful and heart-warming.
I would recommend this movie but felt it was not as good as either of its predecessors.

Overall ok movie. Very scary scenes.. Doll is like chucky from the horror film! My 8 year old was crying hard at the end.. Walked out of the movie and said "Mom, maybe it wasn't a good idea to see that movie... It really struck a nerve in me". And yes that is what HE said.. My 4 1/2 year old ended up sitting on my lap for the last 1/2 hour of the movie and had me cover his eyes during the trash scene.. Scary stuff for a G film .. If you have a sensitive child.. Think TWICE too much for toy story 3 good over all idea, but execution was not great with regards to the audience.

Most of the time the quality of second version and specially the third version of one movie are not as good as we expect. But Toys story 3 is different. The story was well done, animation was great. My 9 year old daughter loved it, like me.

This was, by far, the best of the 3! I can't believe how great this movie turned out to be! The only thing i did not like about the movie was the fact that "Andy is in college." If you do the math right, Andy should technically be about 24 or 25 years old. But it was still A GREAT MOVIE!!

We loved Toy Story 3 from the beginning through the credits/"bloopers". The adult content was hilarious as we've come to expect from Disney Pixar these days. Our family is not a huge fan of 3D so we went 2D and it was fantastic. Ages 4,14,35,41 each loved the experience. We can't wait for the next Pixar show no matter what the title.

The 3rd Toy Story movie was complex enough for adults but held the attention of the 2 and 4 year olds. The animation was amazing, as usual. We saw it in 2D because 3D is tough for younger children. There were moments that were scary to the children, with the mean toys, but we all loved the end. We all hope Andy has a wonderful college experience and that he comes back to visit his toys again.

I remember being a teenager when the first Toy Story emerged and I'd sit with my nieces and nephews and even my friends and watch it all the time! It was amazing and nastalgic to sit and watch this movie now as an adult sitting with my own children...seeing the amazing and clean animation and how far it has come...even seeing little Andy all grown up was enough to bring tears to your eyes...overall I was very satisfied with the experience.

TS3 has some darling scenes. Ken was my favorite character and I loved Andy's message to Bonnie at the end, so I'd say you should go see it. The only reason I didn't give this film an excellent rating is because of all the hair-raising "are they gonna make it?" scenes - think Finding Nemo. After awhile, I tune out and wait for the story to pick back up again.

Watching TS3, I laughed, cried, and practiced my Shakespeare! Wondered throughout about the creative geniuses who dream up these things and bring them to life. Though we've traveled pretty far since Snow White, it is refreshing to see that Walt Disney's vision of bringing universal themes of villainy and good guys to life can still get a fair treatment and better yet, provide good fun and messages for all ages. Saw the movie with a friend yesterday...we are grandmothers who found it as good for us as for the children...there were laughs for each of us. Each of us believe that this was the best in the Toy Story series...it could be called an end given Andy's growth to college-bound teen. It could also continue as the little girl who receives Andy's beloved toys grows with them...For me, in this age of electronics and media, toys are important...a medium for imagination and growth for children. This movie was incredible.
How can toys be scary? How can you feel terror for the fate of an armful of plastic?
Pixar knows. A moving story, with an engaging and surprisingly complex plot.
Really little ones may find some parts pretty intense, though.

My husband (67), myself (65), and my daughter (39) thoroughly enjoyed Toy Story 3!! A movie for all ages. The animation was incredible. A great story line. One of the best movies of the year.

This a great movie. They did a wonderful job of keeping this all about the kids. There weren't too many jokes that were over the kids' heads (which I feel is done way too much in most new kids movies). We can't wait until it comes out on DVD.
