Our whole family went to see this movie last night and enjoyed it so much. Our 21, 18 and 16 years olds remembered the first two movies as did we from when they were little. It was such a well done, warm, movie. We laughed so hard - Mom, you were the loudest laugher in the theatre :) and then we cried. Thoroughly enjoyable. I would agree with the comment that there are some creepy toys and I would not recommend the movie for very young children.

The creators managed to completely ignore 'the third movie is always the worst' stigma with Toy Story 3. I don't think I've laughed so hard in my life! For fans of the first two films, this masterpiece will keep you on the edge of your seat with excitement, laughter, fear, and sadness (in a good way). No worries should be expressed about this movie; no greater ending to the trilogy could have been made. As a teenager who grew up watching Toy Story, I'm very proud of Pixar and their creativity. They managed to tie bits and pieces of each movie into this finale in sych an incredible way. I plan on seeing it in 3D and buying it ASAP.

I must say it was worth an 11 year wait to the conclusion of the Toy Story series. I will not spoil the ending but it was great. The characters were not as developed as in the other movies, however, most people should already be aquainted with the main characters. there are scenes that small childern may find disturbing as well as one of the new charcters was creepy. Overall, one of the best movies I have seen in a long time!

Anyone who has seen the first two installments of Pixar's flagship Toy Story movies knows that the third, and likely final, installment, Toy Story 3, faced high standards given the enormous popularity of the two earlier films. After seeing the film it is clear Pixar did more than just finish the series, Toy Story 3 completely surpassed all expectations.
The film brought together all the familiar faces along with some new ones, but very much incorporated a previously less-developed "human element" into the film. This nostalgic addition along with plenty of humor, adventure, and action brings the story close-to-home and does not disappoint.
Pixar is also renowned for its short films, which are shown before the official movie begins. The new short, "Day and Night", may be their best yet.
Toy Story 3 offers something spectacular to viewers of all ages, promising much and delivering even more.
One of the best movies of the year.

Toy Story has always been a part of my life ever since the first one came out.. It was made for my generation. i just graduated and Im getting ready to head off to college too. The Toy Story movies follow a simple plot line. Toy Story 3 was an excellent addition to the summer and to the college experience. Though the film was fantastic, I would not recommend it for little kids. The monkey, and Chuckles are a little more than I expected. The detail and time that Pixar took took make this film really paid off. it was fully worth my ten dollars and lack of sleep to stay up till midnight to see it. When i think of Toy Story now, i think of my own life and ho well they put things into perspective. When the time comes, you have to make those decisions and find out who your friends are, but know that "You've got a friend in me."

I was seven years old when the first Toy Story came out and now at a wise 22, Toy Story 3 has given us closure to the end of my childhood. The story is complex and mature, but a small child will still understand the plot. I cried twice and (almost) screamed "Oh sh**!!!" about ten. It's bigger, it's darker, it's older and it's going to hurt your face because you'll be smiling so much.

I was thoroughly impressed by this movie. Pixar has done it again! I was totally absorbed in the story from the beginning and the visuals were fantastic! I would recommend this to anyone! I'm 21 years old and took my boyfriend to the movie and we were laughing our butts off. We went to see the midnight premiere and were OVERJOYED. It is a great movie to escape the everyday from. Andy's grown up and dealing with the transition into adulthood, and his toys are facing storage in the attic or worse, being thrown out.
This is a great film that deals with knowing who your family is and when the time is right to grow up and move on. It has the perfect blend of adventure and humor to keep the entire family entertained (and even pull a nostalgic tear out of the sentimental moviegoer's eye). Safe for kids, excellent for adults, an all-around great movie.
Side note: the short film at the beginning was an incredible blend of old and new cartoon styles that takes one back to the days of the silent cartoons.

Definitely a really funny movie; I was surprised that a movie 3rd in its series could still be so great and hold its own! Had a bit of a darker side with part of the storyline and some of the moments are sure to scare the younger kids, but a movie worth seeing!

The movie certainly catered to the audience of "original" viewers (aka 16-22 years) with humor, and is still appropriate for younger viewers. Humorous, tearful, suspenseful and still the same characters! BRILLIANT!

Toy Story 3 out did itself!!!! I went and saw the premier at midnight and let me tell you it was extremely worth it!!!! What a great movie that just brought back all those wonderful memories growing up as a kid!!!!

Having just come out of the midnight premier, with a huge group of friends, I am proud to admit that I absolutely loved this film. And so did everyone in the theater! This film will make you laugh, cry, and hold on to your arm rests as you watch a family of toys, down on their luck, try to make it through a life after playtime. It transported me back to a time when I played with toys, and and was easily caught up in endless imaginary adventure.
It's going to clean shop at the next academy awards.
