I loved this last installment of the Toy Story trilogy. I was nervous it wouldn't live up to the first 2, but the ending was perfect and made more than a few people tear up in the theater (including myself). The characters are still the same and have not been watered down. You don't have to be a kid to love this one, and if you're thinking of seeing it, don't think twice. Great summer movie. Might go see it for a second time in theaters. :)

Very cute movie! Funny and sentimental moments made the movie symbolic of moving on with our childhood memories as we all age. Hilarious adult humor with Ken doll's clothes & style and the craziness of the toddler room at the daycare. Big Baby was a little too creepy for my toddler and Strawberry Bear was a little too unresolved, but the storyline with Woody and Buzz was wonderful as always. Incredible animation!

This was a very satisfying end to a fabulous series. Our favorite characters were back and familiar, but it took us on an emotional journey forward in time that was sweet, heartrending and the most satisfying ending of a movie that I can recall in years. A real feel good movie!

There are few trilogies that work, such as the original Star Wars and Indiana Jones. Toy Story 3 has earned a special place in peoples hearts bringing a basic reality to peoples minds: What happens to us when we serve our purpose. The toys in the movie constantly struggle to fine new meaning in world where their owner is all grown-up. While some scenes can be dark, they are not darker than bambi's mom being shot. Toy Story 3 is a Classic that completes one of the greatest animation trilogies of ALL TIME. There are scenes where one gets caught up in the emotions and a few tears will start to come out. Toy Story is by far the best movie that has come out this year and maybe the best one for the rest of the year.

This was a very good movie. I took my 3 grand-kids to in and they enjoyed it very much. I did note that the furnace scene was a very intense scene and was wondering of the appropriateness of it to my young movie goers. This was such a great movie. I took my three sons, ages 16, 12 and 2 and we all enjoyed it tremendously. My oldest saw the first one in the theater, my second son saw the 2nd movie in the theater and now my third son saw the third movie in the theater. This movie was consistent with the Toy Story series- it was interesting, had lots of ups and downs, same basic formula as the first 2, and included some humor and some very dark themes. They toys are again faced with a dilema, but then get caught in dangerous situations and must escape. There is one really intense part where they are all about to die, and they give up fighting and just hold hands and wait to die. Personally I think this is a VERY mature theme to introduce to young children. There are also themes of abandonment, violence, and torture. For adults, its a good movie- funny, deep, and emotional at the end. It does have a happy ending. So overall- worth watching, but I would not take a child to see this unless you know they are mature enough to handle the darker & scarier elements of the movie.

I will think twice before going to another movie of Disney. After bullying toys, near death experiences, and toys that are thrown away... abused by kids... there were a few "happy" moments mixed in with several sad and depressing. Our kids covered their eyes. I hated it. Gave it a fair rating because it had a few decent moments. We loved TS 1 and 2, this should not have been rated G.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

This movie is so good I'd go watch it again. Usually sequels aren't as good as their predecessors but this movie rocks! Very well put together I don't know how they could ever top this one.
