If you have been yearning to see Vin Diesel back in a serious action role then you should see this move. You will probably come away, as I did, with an appreciation for Diesel and a negative nod to the overall movie. The plot, editing and flow of the movie was weak at best. Hope that Diesel stays with some serious roles for a while and finds a few with some meat on them and a decent director.

A truly action-packed film with a touch of humility. The acting is stellar, and the movie itself touched, accept for the scene where he dines on an animal.

I thought that it was going to be good since I like the other sci-fi Vin movies but this one was disappointing. The story was totally lacking, it was like picking up a book and starting 2/3 of the way through and trying to figure out what is going on. Near the end of the movie some of the back story is reveled, just enough to get you to understand what has been going on. If you want to see it wait till it goes to DVD or on cable, it’s not worth the price of a ticket. This could have been a good movie, I am very disappointed with the makers.

I am a huge fan of Vin Diesel and was sorely disappointed in his choice of movie. The movie has no beginning nor end and very little inbetween. Vin's acting held the movie together but I fear it was not enough to keep it from sinking. Michelle Yeoh is also one of my favorite actors and I wondered why she chose to do this movie, it was beneath her. She still did a fine job with what she had. Many of the lines were borrowed from other movies and it made the movie very predictable. If you like a lot of action, explosions, visual and special effects this movie will hold your attention. Otherwise, I would seek another movie to spend your hard earned money on.
